9k for room with fan, 8k for similar room with weaker fan that the guy described as not strong enough. Room was clean, running water and generator from about 7pm-6am and it served a purpose. Gated parking.

Also had a visit from the state security service. Seemingly legit? Saw credentials. Asked the usual questions about the trip, was obsessed about taking photos of almost all my visas. In hindsight, maybe I should have questioned more or only shown him the pages rather than give the passport. But it is what it is.

Pretty busy place - a local hangout. Simple budget rooms. No AC - fan - still hot rooms. Secure parking. I paid 6000 naira / night.

…. We also got a strange visit from immigration folks and supposed head of security - checked our passports and visa. My riding partner was asked for money by one of the shady characters - be aware!

Not really welcoming unfortunately the prices have changed the cheapest room is 7000 I didn't really feel like leaving my car in the parking lot The atmosphere was a little strange and a little electric so I went elsewhere

We payed 5000N for one room. Electricity was available all night, but its not enough for the AC. Therefore we slept in our car. In the evening a guy came and asked for our passports, as he didn’t wear any uniform we didn’t wanted to hand him our documents. We asked for his papers and he showed us his documents, after that we gave him our passports. He said he regularly checks on the hotels if there are foreigners. Was kinda strange as we never had this before.

Still a good place to stop. We paid 5000 for access to one room and we slept in our vehicles (4 people, two trucks). Potatoes and egg for 1000 a plate, spicy bbq chicken available just outside on the street. Seems a popular spot for locals to have a beer, very friendly atmosphere and all quiet by around 10 or 11pm.

We rented a room for 5000 Nairas but slept in our rig. We felt very safe even if its also a open air bar where locals hang out for a beer or 2. The bar closed quite early (around 10:30) and it was very quiet after that. Also basic food available but tasty, noodles/fried potatoes with omelette (1000 N). We bought barbecue chicken in the street just outside the motel. Friendly staff. We drove from Bali to Mayo Ndaga in about 10 hours, stopping every so often for a photo or/and a cigarette. The scenery is amazing the all drive.
This area felt completely different from the rest of Nigeria : very safe and people were actually really nice to us.

Clean place with large courtyard for parking. The rooms are well kept and have showers w/ hot water, ceiling fan and AC(when they have power). Electricity comes on at 6pm for light and fan, however AC is not available until around 10pm. We gave them some money to start the AC generator early at 6pm. Access to this hotel is convenient right in the highway coming into town.
