Latest Check-Ins

This is a roomy lot close to downtown. It is NOT closed bit open with ‘no overnight’. Usually plenty of room for vans and class c.
There are 4 larger RV sites in the back but posted as 4 hour only.

Super bummed this place closed! I had stayed here a few times over the last couple years. It was so convenient to everything! But yeah they put up 4 hour parking signs everywhere I wouldn’t chance it.

Report Check-In

This place now has signs that say 4 hour parking. Not sure I want to try an overnight here.

Report Check-In

parked our van in shade and had no issues. some traffic in the morning with workers parking there and many trains at night. very short walk to restaurants and trails. cop cars went through the lot 2x that we saw.

Report Check-In

Spent the night, my 31 foot rv fit just fine in the back! No issues. Hung out all day for a lazy day and moved along to penny hot springs in the area(this Time of year you’ll be building your hot pool because it’s so flooded

Report Check-In

Great spot! I parked in the dirt area quiet other than some trains but I slept right through the night with white noise.
A few others were in the lot, couple rvs, cars and my 38’ motorhome.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for the night, there were two other RVs. I have a 38’ motorhome and parked in the back off the pavement. Super question and 5 minute walk to downtown.

Report Check-In

Nice, quite spot. Short walk to downtown (restaurants and shops). We were the only overnighters in the lot. A little traffic and train noise but nothing to stop us from using this spot again.

Report Check-In

We had no problems overnight, with the exception of some drunk guys that were trying to be as loud as possible when they drove off.

Report Check-In

Parked my big rig, 31 ft here for the night before adventures during the day! Great quiet spot. Medium lot, other cars and can campers here!

Report Check-In

Really appreciate this 24 hour parking lot!

Report Check-In

Love this place, quiet. Thanks for keeping it clean, hope to enjoy it here for many years to come.

Report Check-In

Parked here without any issues. There is a public bathroom down the near the main strip (if you go out the parking lot, turn left and then it will be on your right).

Report Check-In

Back again, just as great as ever. Quiet, private and restful.

Report Check-In

great spot close to town we parked our 37 class A on the dort parking lot, no problems

Report Check-In

We stayed here on a Friday night in August - we arrived at 9pm and the lot was pretty full. It didn’t look like other vanlifers, but more of a park & ride. We felt safe and it was quiet all night

Report Check-In

Great place for an overnighted. Very quiet and lighted, but not rest stop bright. You can park in the dirt or paved lot. It’s all public.

Report Check-In

Good parking for 24 hours. Quiet at night. Public toilets approx 250 meters direction town.

Report Check-In

Stayed here on the way to Grand Junction, a few min walk to downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. We did have 2 trains go by but no big deal. Would stay here again.

Report Check-In

still a great spot. spent 2 nights with no issue.

Report Check-In

Nice spot a short walk from downtown, and the public restrooms nearby were surprisingly clean.

Report Check-In

Nice overnight spot. Trains come by but not a problem. Good spot to ski Aspen or on your way to Summit County.

Report Check-In

Great spot. We used it for one night. Close to Public bathroom and police station. Quiet.

Report Check-In

Great overnight parking spot just outside of downtown. Spent a couple nights here with no problems. Other vans and RVs parked here too. Generally quiet spot. The train ran maybe twice a day. Public restrooms a block up the road.

Report Check-In

Worked perfectly for an overnight in Glenwood Springs. We didn’t hear any trains or loud traffic. It had not snowed in a while so the lot was quite clear; I’m not sure whether there are restrictions for plowing when it does snow. We also used the nearby public bathrooms that others have mentioned and they were clean and warm.

Report Check-In

Quiet spot overall. (Four trains overnight, which are loud.) A couple of folks were back and forth from the river before midnight, but not too noisy. Trash left around, so did a little picking up, but would need some big trash bags to really clean this area up. Very convenient to downtown.

Report Check-In

Dirt lot right in town. Next to the train tracks but the train noise did not bother us. Great spot just a block from the town center. Also next to multiple bike trails. Would definitely stay here again

Report Check-In

Parking lot is small but there is a unpaved lot behind the paved that I backed into. if you can't fit in a normal spot park in the unpaved area. Train did go by couple times but not bad spot for one night. There is also some vehicles that look like they have been parked there for more then 24 hours. I wouldn't see a need to stay longer since it's just a basic spot to park.

Report Check-In

nice place to park and stay but do know trains cone though here often

Report Check-In

Not a bad spot. A little road noise, but close to restaurants and bike trail.

Report Check-In

Small parking lot but seems to work for a night. Several spaces available when I arrived here at 6pm. Really cute town with lots of shops and restaurants right down the street. Sign says 24 hour parking “abandoned vehicles will be towed” so as long as you’re sleeping in the vehicle I think overnight should be fine. Two bars of Verizon service.

Report Check-In

Great free spot for a night - plenty of spots and decently lit at night. Minimal road noise, next to a train but only heard one train go by around 9pm. We were joined by 1 other car overnight. Right below the police station so feels safe. Fast T-Mobile/sprint and Verizon coverage.

Report Check-In

Great spot close to downtown. The bathrooms up the road are clean. Quiet all night, heard people walk by and talk about my van early in the morning (haha).

Report Check-In

For parking in a city this is about as decent as it gets. Bathrooms located at 7th & Colorado (3 min walk) and walking distance to restaurants and shops, but far enough from everything to be a quiet parking lot - even on a busy Friday night. Joined by 2 others (1 van, 1 small camper) and no one bothered us. Not a big lot so I wouldn’t try it with big rigs but for cars and vans it works great for a night.

Report Check-In

Just as described below, pretty quiet. No hassles.

Report Check-In

Well lit 24 hour parking lot behind a police station. Stayed here one night, no issues. There was one other van friend staying the night here as well. Public restrooms 2 minute walk up the street. Great restaurants and coffee shops are walking distance away.

Report Check-In
