Ablution is old but clean and neat
Hot water by donkey fire
6 camp sites in total - all of them good
Beautiful Nature Reserve. Campsites large, each with a beautiful big shade tree. Ablutions basic. Hot water from donkey, but maintained every day. Worth a visit for the naure lover that wants peace and quiet.
Report Check-InBush camp with very basic amenities. Hot water provided by a "donkey" (hot water boiler powered by fire). Lights not working in the bathrooms.
Report Check-InFantastic nature reserve, full of the beats from the bush. Campsites spacious and lots of shadow. Fire place with braai grid, wood available. Toilets, hot and cold water, dish washing basin. Things to do: 4x4 trail (in dry season), hike to vulture colony with guide, (self) game drive, bird watching, vulture restaurant (hide). For the one who wants to camp remote with a little bit of comfort.
Report Check-InNice place, wildlife roaming free nearby, baboons present but go their own way. Ablutions simply but OK, toilets needs a little maintenance as well the female staff of the booking office needs a little more motivation
Report Check-InVery basic campsite. Shaded with trees and bushes. No water at sites and 2 toilets and two showers shared between all the campsites. Toilet doors don’t lock which can be interesting. One dish washing basin with no hot water. Donkey boiler for water. You do not get very much for your R230 per night. Entry costs on top of that.
Generally run down with general maintenance needed very badly.
Rustic campsite set in the bush. 5 large camp spots all with good sized trees for shade. Sandy tracks for self driving, huge colony of vultures here as well as buffalo, giraffe, kudu etc. We had nice giraffe encounter as they walked through the campground.
Ablutions are acceptable if you need hot water then 'donkey boiler' needs to be lit. 100 per person to camp and one off entry fee. We stayed two nights on 22nd December and nobody else here.
Nice Campsite, each stand under a big tree, fireplace, braai, 180 ZAR for 1-2 persons pn, entrance fee 20 pp + 30 per car for the stay.
