Army checking vehicles traveling north, although I don't know for what as we were waved through. No such checkpoint going South
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Both north and southbound inspections happening just before noon. We were waved through (van) but an suv with Jalisco plates ahead of us were pulled to the side. Don’t know what they were checking for.
Report Check-InThere were military people there, checking various cars but they didn’t even look at us. We just drove through on Saturday morning. Easy on the way south. But saw that on the way north there was a longgg line of semis and cars going through that checkpoint waiting. Would try to avoid going this way north. See picture.
Report Check-InGoing north today, we were slowed down for a bit and then military officers waved us through.
Report Check-InGoing north today. We had to sit in a line of traffic for over an hour for this checkpoint. Plan accordingly.
Report Check-InHeaded southbound, US plates in an SUV they waived us to the side, asked where we were headed, we answered and they waived us through. There was a significant line headed northbound though for more than a mile, many semis. One semi at the end drove into the median and crashed, the trailer was destroyed with the load all over the road and people trying to gather it! Perhaps he drove off the road because he couldn’t stop in time for the big line, not trying to assume but beware if heading Northbound today and slow down, watch for the line.
Report Check-Inlots of military guys around, looking at vehicles driving through, but we didn't see them stop anyone.
Report Check-InStandard check point, cars and trucks get separated. Car in front of us got some questions, we got waved through.
Report Check-InNo one even looked at us as we drove slowly through the blockade.
Excellent checkpoint, 5 stars, would visit again.
Report Check-InThe guy was very nice, asked where we came from, where we were going, and what our occupations were. Asked how many bikes we had in the van (my husband works for a bike company) and then smiled and waved us on!
4pm on a Tuesday.
Nice soldier, checked the van, asked us our names and looked around. They let us pass afterwards. 7pm on a sunday while all the pandemic thing is going on.
