Description

Modern rest area, tons of room and parking spaces for all types of vehicles. Quite a few other campers.
W/C open 24hr. Probably the nicest rest area I've stayed at. Not too much noise from the highway if you park by the rear entrance to the building.

Perfect and safe place for a night with very clean toilets

We made the mistake of parking with the tractor trailers. Far too noisy. Finally left at 2 am and drove to a Cracker Barrel. Don't make the same mistake as us.

Bathrooms are fine, parking goes 360 degrees around building. We arrived after dark so information area closed but a couple good maps and tourist info pamphlets were available near vending machine area. I parked across from the truck/camper home parking area (est 500’ away), next to the walkway to the rest rooms. Quiet, chilly night (33F). Will post photo after dawns early light. 🌅

Very nice rest stop. If you park in the back of the building, it is quiet enough. A lot of people coming and going but plenty of space in the car area. 24hr restrooms and weak wifi.

very nice area to overnight! Its busy but relatively quiet. I pulled in about 12:30am and there were still some open spots at the far end of the truck/RV area.

Wow. This is a very nice rest area! Very busy with semis but we parked in the spacious car area with our 21-foot class B and it was a great spot for the night. Parking spaces are sufficiently level. The bathrooms inside were abundant and clean. Lots of vending machines too. We did not have an issue with the people here, as one previous comment suggested we might. There were a couple people hanging around at the rest area but they did not bother us at all. Would def stay again.

Welcome center open 8:30-5 Bathrooms open 24/7

As mentioned a very busy rest area. Still didn't stop me from making dinner a good night's sleep.
Ton of Semi trucks and at least a dozen car campers and RVs.

Could find WiFi
Full 5g UC on T-Mobile

First time here. 3/18/23. Surprisingly quiet. Other vans parked here overnight also. Bathrooms are open 24 hours. Recommended.

Arrived at 7pm. Left at 10:30am. No issues at all. Several other vans and car campers around us and one RV in the truck area. 24hr restrooms were very clean. drinking fountains inside. lots of helpful info about GA.

Report Check-In

Felt very safe! Did not see any sketchy behavior at all, and I was definitely looking. Tons of vans parked in the car area. Sprinter fit comfortably. People do drive a bit silly around the loop though, so I would back your rig in if your bed is in the rear.

Nice paved walking trail in the dog area. I didn’t go inside as I have my own bathroom, but I really liked this rest area!

Report Check-In

Stayed one night in van felt completely safe. Number of other overnighters. No obvious drug deals, prostitution, or murder. Nice new facilities open 24hrs. Large spread out parking area, pet area, picnic area. Full ATT service

I didn’t stay the night because of the last check in but this is a beautiful rest area and even has wifi. Ton of bathroom stalls and information about Georgia. Also water fountains to fill up your water bottles.

Cop came in to tell us it is not a safe place to stay. He said we could get killed out here and there are a lot of drug deals and prostitution. He was very nice and but adamant we leave.

Report Check-In

Big place very busy. I cooked a meal on a grill in the Parking lot between my two van doors and no one said anything. Woke up at 8 with place pretty much cleared out.

Report Check-In

Great suggestion, it was generally quiet. We stayed in the “car” area with our Revel, no issues. Recommend if traveling south on I95. Limited area open at welcome center, never used the restrooms.

Report Check-In

the coolest rest stop i’ve been to. restrooms are spacious and clean and are 24/7 (back entrance at night) with access to an indoor seating area with outlets, to charge up. the parking lot is huge, easy to find spots that are out of the way and not crowded. i felt very safe.

Best rest area we’ve stayed in! Super clean, modern bathrooms, not too close to the highway if you park around the back of the visitors center so it’s not super loud either. A needed good night’s sleep after getting kicked off of Folly Island, SC by the sheriff the night before!

Report Check-In

Wonderful rest area! Super clean. Very modern. Truckers were polite and quiet for the most part. They do leave their rigs running and that makes for some noise when sleeping. We are in a Promaster EXT and we saw other RVs too. Park on the pack side of the building to avoid freeway noise.

Au matin, le contrôle des camions reprend et le bruit avec. Autrement, la station est très propre et sympa à visiter de jour pour son décor.

Report Check-In

Super nice place, they even have a bunch of mock-ups you can take your picture with etc. we parked in the back and even slept in. Nice pet area too.

Report Check-In

the interior of the welcome centre is very nice with a lot of tourist pamphlets once it opens. We parked in the back at the pet spot and could not receive the wifi at all. Expect traffic noise.
