We arrived in a hot afternoon and we took a fresh bath in the balneario (100 meters of Rio where people come for a bath). Nice and pretty clean place between trees and nature. There are bathrooms and showers for 10/25 cents. We stayed for one night and we felt safe. A man who lives close assures it’s safe, and he also offered a bathroom for the night at the end of the street. We didn’t pay anything for the balneario and parking. There’s a free WiFi that works just one hour, then you have to wait long time before using it again.

Report Check-InStayed here on a sunday so it was really busy - i got lots of looks But it seems that people from the town gather here to drink and eat and everyone seems friendly. Music continued until at least 10 when i fell asleep.
Report Check-InA free public balneario en El Eno. We parked on the street and spent a peaceful night. Kids playing soccer on the field across but they left before dark. You can take a refreshing bath in the river. There are bathrooms and a restaurant but were closed. The guy that lives here is friendly and said it was safe to stay. Food and potable water in town main street.
Report Check-InGood, save and quiet place 20km south of Lago Agrio. We parked our van in the quiet street between the sports grounds and the Balneario - lots of space, no through traffic! River looks clean but is only knee deep. It helps cooling you down in the heat though. Small restaurants, playground and tennis courts are there too. During the day there is music but okay. Friendly people around. Police station is just around the corner. Easy access from the main road through El Eno.
