Polideportivo | Showers

Unfortunately they are rejecting people for showers now and both the polideportivo and the stadium to the left "have agreed to forward any coming travellers" to shower at the Albergue Municipal Griselda Ortega (15 minute drive north of the city). We didn't succeed but I wouldn't disencourage anyone from trying their luck.

Tem duchas, mas depende de quem te atende na recepção pra conseguir a liberação. Usamos por vários dias, pela manhã as mulheres são bem queridas e sempre liberam. A tarde e noite já fomos negados algumas vezes com a desculpa de que “havia um problema nos chuveiros”. Vale a tentativa! A água não fica muito quente mas dá pra encarar.

Showers are definitely working! A bit awkward to have a shower as there are no faucets, but a single button which will mix hot and cold water for you. For the water to get barely warm, you'll have to let the water fun for a long time. Better than nothing anyway, specially considering it's for free. People saying you have to be booked probably went to the wrong place. These showers are inside the "polideportivo" building.

We ask to take a shower and a nice girl shows us the way to get to it. The water was cold at first, but if you wait a bit (5min) while pressing the button several time, at the end, it gets warm(ish).

They didn’t ask to pay anything, there were very friendly.

We came here to take a shower. You should ask in the reception. It's still possible but you should avoid tuesdays and thursdays morning because there are classes for older people and it's crowded.

No poliesportivo da cidade tem duchas free. Só chegar e pedir que eles liberam, tomamos banho 2 dias aqui de boas.
