Beach parking lot down a gravel road. No signs. Remains of fire pits and some trash from visitors. Also a trailhead so cars in the day. Nice black sand beach. Great for van or small RV. Great scenery and lighthouse if you walk the trail (about 1 km) from the fence just before arriving to the beach. Bring your camera!

Latest Check-Ins

Lots of mosquitoes but absolutely lovely spot to camp just off the parking lot by the beach. Fire pits and great view of the water.

Report Check-In

Really nice place but gets super busy in the evening with locals. People were standing all around my van and I was starting to feel claustrophobic. I stayed here two nights on a Tuesday and Wednesday so I can’t even imagine how it is on the weekend.

nice place to enjoy fresh air. we were here with our 15ft RV trailer. the road is little rough but is ok

Report Check-In

Large parking area, the road to get there is quite bumpy but there's no need for 4x4. The beach is beautiful, even saw some porpoises at mid-tide! Lots of people coming and going, but quiet at night. Lots of toilet paper and other trash on the ground, please take up your trash with you!

Report Check-In

Nice black sand beach with no seaweed in main area even with low tide, mosquitoes get crazy at dusk for about an hour. little to no traffic after sunset

Report Check-In

superb site to spend the night, but be careful the gravel road is steep just before arriving at the car park.

Peaceful night, locals with pets & kids visited up until dark, a rooftop camper came in after dark. Local fog horn with intermittent signals was a plus for us. Fog seems to come & go with tidal changes.

Would definitely stay here again.

Wide gravel road easily passable in 170 sprinter, no 4wd necessary. Fire pit on beach is reclaimed after every high tide.

Report Check-In

Great spot away from the busy roads with beautiful views right on the beach. Seems to be a spot for locals in the evening, so be prepared to hear a few cars going in & out on the gravel road if you usually turn in early.

Very nice overnight. Big tide here on Fundy.

Report Check-In

Very quiet, few cars came to see sunset. Certainly enough space for 3-4 small rigs. Perfect spot. Gravel road to be here pretty rough !

Amazing spot! We didn’t spend the night but came by to check it out and walk around with the pup. Many trails available. Beautiful black sand and cliffs with strong wind. A few spots to car camp and few for tent camping at the start of the trail. Fire pits and some cut firewood available as well!

Report Check-In

What a beautiful spot.It was foggy at night and therefore I could hear the foghorn every 60 seconds at night but it didn't bother me.In the morning I went on Troys trail to the Lighthouse. Absolutely beautiful.

Report Check-In

secluded beach with black Sand, amazing view of the bay, great for tenting and vans, chose a space away from the beach near the light house entrance as the mosquitos are relentless on the beach.

Report Check-In

Actual black sand beach with pretty nice parking lot at the end of the well maintained gravel road. Try not to freak out when you pass Coleson Cove Generating Station. You'll forgetaboutit once you reach the beach. Internet weak, but it works, at 1/3 Mbps up/down. Peaceful place where we stopped in order to eat all the foods UBP will want to confiscate on the way back into the US; eggs, citrus fruits, tomatoes, blueberries, apples from South Africa, my cooked lobster and heaven knows what else.

Beautiful beach, great trails!
wonderful hidden gem

beach parking lot ar the end of a gravel road. very nice beach. quite a few people here for the day but not other campers yet.

Report Check-In

Incredible black sand beach. On foggy nights a horn blows every minute.

Report Check-In

Parking lot had a few other cars and one RV, so we felt safe staying here. Parking lot is enough for ~7 cars to park comfortably. Some stayed in tents (top of hill on the right or off the beach on the left). Was very foggy and the path there was a bit industrial / gravel road, so it looks out of place. But keep going and you’ll find this gem in the end of the road. 2 bars LTE Fido. Huge beach but water was slightly murky. Foghorn was blowing every minute or so but it was fairly quiet and bearable.

Along a bumpy road past a power plant which may turn you off. Continue to the secluded end of the road. We were alone staying for the night. Early visitors coming to just to look or walk the trails. Great trail to the light house. Beautiful black sand. At this time of year fresh water creek for wash up.

we stayed two nights here. it's a lovely little beach and there is a 4km walking trail here too. it's very popular with the locals. but there was a lot of garbage around, I did a quick clean up and ended up with 2 full garbage bags! please try and keep this place clean. I would hate to see a gem like this closed.

Foggy Morning not so much of us out, but the beach view was incredible.

only one other truck of snacks stayed the night.

great place

Beautiful spot. Gravel road in as people said and a small parking area right next to the bay. We were the only ones after dark. Some locals came in early evening for hikes and the beach. Quiet and overall quite clean. Pack in and out. Gas station/convenience store owner in Lorneville very nice and helped us get water to fill up van tank. Can watch tide go in and out and beautiful sunset. Just awesome!!!

Report Check-In

Great place! One other vehicle was there for the night. Fire pit available. No light pollution, great view on the sky at night. Please always pick your garbage as some people left things on a rock!

Thank you for getting us to this amazing boondocking spot! Fine black sand. Great hiking trail with stunning views. Some trash; we cleaned that up. We parked at the lower beach parking lot. I know that some drive up the rocky road, but it seems narrow and with scratchy bushes for our van. Decent Verizon signal. Could handle a few more respectful campers. We were the only overnighters after some hikers left.

sweet spot next to the ocean. However we went on a Friday night and some locals seem to know about it so a car of people kept us up late. Otherwise a superb place to stay a night

Report Check-In

Fairly good sized parking lot at Black sand beach we had 5 vehicles here at one point with room for a few more. road is bumpy but shouldn't deter you from enjoying the views. Black sand was awesome, and we had an AMAZING sunset. Mosquitoes were annoying but manageable with some deet. Several crabs on the beach during low tide and could hear the seals making calls (snort, hiss, growl and sneeze) fantastic spot.

Report Check-In

Nice location, road to get there is a bit long and rough but feasible even with 2wd cars/vans, just take your time.

Report Check-In

great little spot. Beware, the road can be quite poor.

Incredible spot! A few different fire rings, beautiful black sand beach, quiet, just lovely. The 2km stretch leading in is a bit treacherous. Go slowly!

Report Check-In

I can’t believe I have this whole space to myself. Gorgeous, unique, black sand, gaspworthy view, and just me. A bit of a rocky drive in for 2kms but if my Smartcar can do it (and she did), you can, too. Heaven on Earth.

Report Check-In

The road in is in pretty rough shape and some areas washed out
