Same like others. Camping was not allowed and they only had an abandoned field with no facilities what so ever, so we left.
Report Check-InWe asked to stay one night because it was the cheapest place with electricity. They said us no camping here and brought us to another half abandoned place without access to the beach, and without electricity... We left 😅
Report Check-InWe checked out all the options on the beach and thought this was the best. Friendly owners decent food and nice flat parking. It’s pretty much right on the beach. Just be aware which parking spot you take because there are some fire ants. The showers are cold but not that cold in the bathrooms are clean. I think there’s power here although we didn’t use it. But there’s no Internet.
Report Check-InAs described below, it's a nice and quiet place with direct access to the beach, and the owner is indeed very friendly. We paid 10$ for 2 persons and our van, and had access to the swimming pool as well. Definitely a good place to relax after a two-border crossing day!
Report Check-InOur rig was too high for entry way which is less than 10' tall. Gustavo took us to his property across the road through a field and closer to town but it's a long walk in the heat to the beach at main property. there is a bathroom complete with shower though and there is power right at the sites. asked $10 pp/night with power. there is a restaurant with pool at main site.
Report Check-InNice spot at one of the many hotels there close to El Cuco, right next to the Hotel Tropiclub. Camping on grass in the shade. Directly on the beach. We could plug in. Paid 5$ for one camper, 2 persons incl. electricity. Gustavo, the owner, is very friendly and also wants to build up a bigger campground on the other side of the road. No WiFi!
