Tremendous view, couple other vans around, very quiet but windy night : the rv shook all night long, felt like a boat cruise :)
Report Check-InFirst pull of had a swarm of carpenter ants so I had to leave. Drove to town for ant spray, doused the straggles stuck under my pop top and then went to the 3rd spot down the road. No carpenter ants here so far. Lots of little ants on the ground that may bother a tent camper. Stunning view, clean and VERY quiet.
Report Check-In360 degree beautiful views. Great spot. When the road y's take the path to the right. At first glance there were already card at the spots listed here, but as I drove to this one there were just several spots so don't shy away from checking.
Report Check-InGreat spot with an amazing view of the lake on one side and the mountains on the other. Short drive down a forest road, 4WD not necessary for the first few pull offs but we scouted further down and had to go into 4L to get back up some steep sandy spots.
The spot is visible for a short moment by someone driving down the highway but it’s pretty hidden otherwise.
Report Check-InFS1N32 is the road with the pullouts. Nice view of the mountain and Mono Lake. Definitely park facing the wind, it helps. No high clearance needed for this road but that’s only for 1N32. Some other roads require high clearance but luckily this one doesn’t.
Report Check-InSmall spot but was able to fit our car and a small tent. Got a little cold at night but not too windy the night we stayed there. Nice views of the mountains and lake!
