Description
Beautiful and well equipped eco camping place just about 4km from Mahahual center, located right by the sea, surrounded by nature and jungle and run by two lovely ladies. Solar energy, very clean outdoor shower and toilet, common kitchen with basic supplies, chill area with deck chairs, rental tents, bikes and snorkel gear available, fast wifi. Coral reef is just 200m from the shore, you can rent kayaks from the hotel next to the camping. $115 Peso pp/pn, $150 Peso addionally for a rental tent. Very calm and relaxed.

Quiet, lovely little camping area. Not big rig friendly, only enough space for maybe 2 trucks / vans / small campers. Power only from 7:30am - 10pm as it is solar power. clean, well stocked flush toilets, showers are clean & tepid if it is a hot day, beach directly in front, across the road. The water is crystal clear, and so warm, beautiful sunrises.
*edit: just in case someone is relying on power, it's very intermittent, you get nothing if it's a cloudy day. wifi is reliant on the power as well.
