Parking associated with Upper Brewers lockstation on the Rideau Canal. Parking lot is at the end of Canal road. If the canal is open, there is a $5 per person charge for camping at the lockstation. Far enough from the highway that there is minimal noise.

Report Check-Invery nice well kept area including washrooms and small cabins that i believe can be rented. Parking lot had several vehicles in it. i inquired if it was ok to park for the night and was told no problem. there were several SUV and cars that people stayed in and a van. Very quiet next to the locks and canal over night. i felt very safe.

spent a night here, quiet except the sound of water flowing through the canal. Be careful walking in the dark, I can imagine it being easy to fall a long way down to an empty lock.
Report Check-InLock station parking lot. Quiet as the canal season hasn’t started. Parked in the main lot next to the locks. No signs saying no camping but not sure if it would be permitted in season. A few people fishing during the day. Very quiet in the evening. No sound of traffic. Pretty setting with picnic tables and bbq’s along the docks.
