Solid state park campground! We were hoping to stay at papa murph’s nearby but it was closed and we had a long day of driving so we reluctantly paid $25 at starved rock for a beautiful woodsy spot near porta potties and not many other campers. We stayed at site 111 which was level enough for our van and had a tent site, which we used just for fun. The quiet, woods, and shower access made the $$ well worth it! And it was so easy to get up and go hike in the park the next morning. All spots have electric, dump and fill access, shower and bathroom access.
Report Check-InLarge camp stop with Hot soars, toilets and plenty of hook ups. GPS states there is a 6 ton limit on the road leading to the park but there are no signs whatsoever.
