Camping in a big gravel pit with a lake 6 km south of Alexandra Falls. Close to the Highway. Few traffic so noise is acceptable. 2 more campers here.

Great base camp for exploring Alexandra Falls and Louise Falls. We spent 2 nights here in our 20ft travel trailer :) You can swim in this lake! We saw some locals drive to the other side of the lake where it looks like they have set up a diving board and jump into the waters. Bugs were too bad while we were there.
Report Check-InIt's a gravel pit...there are two pits on either side of the lake. One larger than the other. it was a great spot to watch the northern lights...360 view!
