Roosting site at a viewing point near right off the highway Saskatoon West. Was surprisingly quiet at night as there is little traffic. 1 train but woke 1x us., Has no sweepings, not very clean, but more than OK to stay.

Nice spot. Fairly flat. Tracks are close but no trains this night. Highway noise slowed at night. Good spot for a quick stop and sleep.

Google Maps’ direction was a bit off though. Follow the sign for the scenic outlook (the turning before google maps tells you to turn).

OK stay for a night. Bit windy but when it got down it was quite. Not much noice of the road and one train in the night (no horn)
No facilities. There is a garbage bin!
We decided to pass on staying the night here. It was too open and was feet away from the tracks. Very nice view though. We carried on to Radisson.
Report Check-InQuiet place from sunset to sunrise by the river! 2 trains during the night but no whistle. You hear the vehicles on the highway nearby but it’s fairly distant and not frequent during the night. There were discarded oil containers near the sign. Shame! Otherwise very clean area! 2 other overlanders spent the night there!
Report Check-InBel endroit pour dormir ! C’est un ancien point de vue sur la rivière Saskatchewan. La vue est vraiment belle et le coucher de soleil était à couper le souffle ! Nous avons entendu un peu l’autoroute, mais les véhicules sont beaucoup moins présents durant la nuit. Il y a eu un train qui n’a pas sifflé et une autre autour de 6:00 qui nous a réveillé en sifflant. Une belle nuit tout de même !
