Description

Sleeping place on the seafront between Margaree and Inverness on peer. Beautiful view, otherwise a bit muddy. Not good when it rains. Driveway gravel road.

Recent update - Great spot in the middle of the lobster cages. Beautiful sunset. But a neighbor came late at night to tell us it was a private property and that we normally could not stay but that it was ok for that night. To tell the truth, I do not know if it's really private (there's no sign that looks more like an abandoned port and a lot of locals come fishing here until late at night) or if it's just the local 'Do not like being there instead of camping 2km away.

Latest Check-Ins

Report Check-In

This was formerly a government wharf, which has since been sold to a private owner. I notice that someone who stayed here remarked that a local person informed them the land was private, and that is the case, although I don't believe they have done anything to the property yet. The survey lines were visible when we visited, as was the crap and solied toilet paper next to the sheds...really? You couldn't take a little walk into the brush wild camper? In any case, this road is used very little, and there are other spots along the water side of the road available for camping
