Report Check-In

We stayed here for 2 weeks on our mini break in the capital, it served us very well and was clearly popular with truckers and other overlanders! We used the toilets in the Jumbo nearby and were never questioned, and had outdoor showers in our van early in the morning when no one was around. We felt incredibly safe, used Uber and the Bikes to get around the city and just used our mobile data with 5G signal on our Claro and Movistar sim cards. Enjoy, we loved it here!

Safe, surprsingly quiet place to park in the park. The police cabin over the road is manned 24-7, and there are toilets nearby though they are only open 10am-6pm which is annoying. Very public cold water showers are also available for free inside the nature reserve (100m inside, by the visitors centre) but again this is closed on Mondays and whenever it rains so is a bit unreliable. Overall, though, an amazing free spot for a capital city, esp if you are totally self-reliant. City Wi-Fi is awful, we recommend going to Muu (local diner specialising in milkshakes and deserts) for a breakfast or snack or something, and get their Wi-Fi code. There are then benches outside where you can use their very fast network on subsequent days. And the puddings looked amazing!

Stayed for 5 nights- great location! Free, 20min from the city, nice parks to sit, toilets (open during the day) nearby, free cold showers in the nearby Reserva and relatively quiet (a bit loud in the morning, we and our baby slept well).
Good for children with many playgrounds!

Jumbo is expensive but just round the corner. :)

We stayed here for four nights and thought it was great. Yes, especially on the WE it‘s loud and even during the week you have a lot of traffic till 10/11pm, but hey, your only 20-30min. (on foot) away from La Boca and San Telmo or the next subte (metro) station at Plaza Mayo. It‘s very safe here, right next to one of those „police boxes“. You have a bit of green, where you can put your table and chairs, there is potable water on the opposite side of the park, next to the green wall. Toilets are available during daytime at about 100m away. BA Wifi (free) is sometimes available but very unsteady. Showers (outside) and more toilets available at the reserva ecologica (about 200m from the entry, about 400m from this place. For such a big city, it‘s a perfect spot for free.
