Really nice and relatively new refugio. Has all the windows and doors (unfortunately not very common for other refugios). We slept here on two separate nights. Three people can sleep on the top and one (maybe two) at the bottom on the floor. Stove is gone but the table is still there. Separate toilet. We left there two camping stove gas containers.
Please, don't put stickers on the windows. It block the sun and the beautiful view outside.
Definitely the best Refugio for a long way around. Was clean (even the toilet!) when we stopped by for a little break. No water, although it is opposite an estancia if you’re desperate…
Report Check-Inbest kept Refugio I've come across out of all. everything works, stove missing (but who cares), clean and cozy.
Report Check-InArrived here going north after crossing Chilean border at San Sebastián. Was completely wet from rain and quite cold. Was disappointed to find that the wood burning stove had been removed. However, was very clean. Doors and windows sealed and insulated well. Pit toilet on the side. No water readily accessible, so bring enough when travelling by bicycle.
Report Check-InWe enjoyed a good night sleep in this refugio. It needed some cleaning (many dead flies), but luckily there was a broom. Don't even try to open the door of the toilet..
Report Check-InExcelente Refugio, todo muy bien cuidado y limpio.
Si te quedas, limpia antes de irte y no olvides de llegar tu basura.
I stopped there for lunch. It's a lovely little cabaña, I'd like to spend a night there. It seems comfortable. See descriptions below
Report Check-InPerfect place if you are stuck on the road. Like a tiny cabaña. It has a small stove and it's possible to heat water on top of it. There is an old dead tree nearby so you can collect some branches. We left some wood for the next traveller - please enjoy and keep it clean!
Report Check-Ingreat place to break up the day between p.natales and ushuaia. single small room with a bench seat and 2 bed frames. has a long drop toilet out back. no water source.
