Latest Check-Ins

It’s so hard getting here in the dark. 😭😮‍💨. I parked at the first fire ring I saw. There was another camper here.

Report Check-In

Train pases every few hours and the horn is very audible even in the camper. Passed at 2 am in the morning as well. Pretty spot, river access is a bit steep. The far back spot is big enough to accommodate 2-3 campers on a decent big grass patch so dont be deterred if you see just one camper. LTE on telus between 2-3 bars, fast 90 mbps download during the wee hours of 1-2 AM

Busy on weekend with 5-6 campers

My far favourite stop so far on our tour of BC & AB.
The view is spectacular.
Plenty of space. Maybe 5 others staying overnight and all had our own area.
Locals fishing until the sun went down.
Saw some bear scat on the access road coming in so use precaution.
I did not want to leave!

Unbelievable! Incredible views all around. People parked low on the river and fly fishing at the convergence of the Bulkley and Skeena rivers. Not sure where the actual campsites are as there are fire rings here and there. No site numbers. Much of the area marked by "Ecological Rehabilitation Work in Progress. Please Do Not Disturb." I presume this means don't walk or park on the fluffy grass... only park where the grass has been mowed low. 5G cell service, also unbelievable! Kiosk only describes which fish you must put back. Nothing about a fee to park here. Nothing that indicates "no camping." We're here with a couple other travelers, each parked right up on the river. Worth the long winding dirt road down to the park.

Absolutely beautiful campsite with gorgeous views in every direction. And not bad for mosquitoes! We loved it.

Report Check-In

it wonderful
even saw a grizzly on the other side of the river last night.

es ist wundervoll
haben gestern Abend sogar an der andere Uferseite einen Grizzly beobachten können.

Report Check-In

As described. Great internet and fast food across the street and grocery store. Good stop for an hour to stretch or so.

Report Check-In

This was a beautiful spot with amazing mountain views! Most spots are in the grass.. There was a toilet. Lots of mosquitoes! Some four wheelers came by. But pretty sweet spot overall. The road coming in is definitely bumpy.

Report Check-In

A lot of place for camping, tents possible, nice river and mountains views.
pit toilet. today a lot of people here camping.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place on the river. No tables. No defined campsites borders . Very relaxing.

Report Check-In

Thurs night we stayed here. It was hot and buggy. Locals came and partied till 2am. Pretty mountains and nice lake. full tmobile service.

Report Check-In

very nice spot by the river. Only one table. One pit toilet. BC Park guy came to chat. Didn't collect money. Better be selfcontained. Road is rocky coming down here.

Report Check-In

It's NOT an official campsite,
but it's allowed to camp here - we asked in town !
All other descriptions are still correct.

Report Check-In

Wonderful spot! Set up near the river with a fire ring- short walk to the pit toilet. Lots of Saskatoon berries surround the entire area - lots of bears enjoying the Saskatoons. Beautiful view of the mountains nice sounds from the river.

Report Check-In

Awesome spot with a great view to the mountains, river access and pit toilet, a few firepits. we love it

Report Check-In

Wow! What a phenomenal free campsite. Feels like a best keep secret… one picnic table, one pit toilet and a couple of fire rings. It’s a Friday night, we are only 3 campers and there is room for more. The view to the mountains is outstanding! Some cell service, and surprisingly no mosquitoes for us tonight.

Report Check-In

The high grass has been partially cut and therefore you can find a level place. However, it has a total of only one table/fire ring left. An outhouse is available. It does not say anywhere that camping is not allowed. Another big rig joins us. The river has a lot of (brown) water.
Unfortunately it is raining and therefore we can not enjoy the surrounding panorama.
4G network available.

Report Check-In

Great spot, good AT&T service. Road was a little rough coming down, due to recent rains. Only found 1 picnic table and a couple of fire rings. Views of the snow covered mountains amazing, great spot.

Report Check-In

fantastic, best place ever, picknic, pit toi, firerings, best views, free, we were alone

Report Check-In

What an AWESOME spot! So lovely and quiet on a Saturday evening. The road starts off in a residential area, crosses a train track, and then continues down a gravel road (lots of potholes) past more private residences. Go slow as there was a senior dog laying in the grass just off the side of the road. :-)

Grass / camping area was nicely manicured. If you have 4x4 and good tires, would suggest going all the way to the back towards the mountains. More privacy but there was a lot of mud. RV’s / Trailers gravitate towards the front of the park area.

Report Check-In

very nice. lots of people at this time, but lots of room!! nice grassy spots with fire rings. river is good for salmon fishing!

Free camp with a lot of space for every type of party, friendly people and nice area. However it was not pleasant for us: tons of mosquitoes, you better be ready for war!!!
