I have no direct experience with this, but I'm trying to add more possible spots in the Bay Area in hopes to help people find more locations. If someone finds this is not viable, please delete. Someone on CheapRVLiving posted this as a decent spot that they stayed at for a night. They suggest not being away from your rig for too long. Lock everything up. Hide everything from sight. Google Maps shows truckers and other vehicles parked here.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great spot outside of the city! There is a really nice path by it too - definitely walk it at sunset! Great Verizon reception as well. Fairly quiet at night and plenty of other rigs parked here too.
Report Check-InStayed a night at the parking lot across from the marina. Lots of cars parked here over night. Street noises. I didn’t have a good sleep.
Shower/bathroom from Berkeley Marina is closed to public now. I was lucky that a gentleman who has a slip let me in. It has hot shower!!!
Report Check-InNext door to the adventure play house. Showers on side of the bathroom building. So clutch
Report Check-InSignage says that parking is not allowed 2am-6am BUT everyone parks anyways. No trouble for me during 2 nights. Left vehicle to go on a 45min run through a nearby park, wouldn't leave my vehicle for much longer than that. Large homeless population nearby.
Not too much traffic, great views across the bay. Bring earplugs in case of noisy neighbors, popular spot.
added photos to original post, but for some reason they didn't post. Am trying again...
Report Check-InQuiet. one RV in area, parked here as well. It looks like only one side of the street can be used without the possibility of getting hassled. Will post pic of sign. Any other place in the area, like across the street, has parking limitations posted...it looks to be associated with the adjacent park, rather than the marina.

Report Check-InI've stayed there a night, a number of times over the years. Found a quiet spot, tucked in a corner. There's washrooms here and there in daytime. It's never happened to me in ~5 times staying, but be prepared to be asked to 'move along'.
