Perfect stop off for one night. A little busy as we arrived but no issues.

Stayed here one night just fine. There were several other vans here. Had the forest service recording everyones license plates when we woke up. Guess they really don’t want you to stay more than the 14 days! He was very nice.

stayed here last year for 4 nights in october. Was really busy. Not a soul here this time round.... except the cool owl outside.

Awesome spot. Nice relief after driving 10 hours from Tecorpia Sonora.

I'm actually parked at the little pull off area across the street. no room in the big lot. nice place fairly flat, many trails. getting harder to find places in the Coconino .. so crowded .. and with the new camping laws everyone is packed into the same 10 designated areas. such a shame they blocked off many of the good spots.

I agree with the previous comments. This is a great spot. Easy access. Most sites are flat with Rock fire rings. Delighted to stay for one night. Other spots available along this road.

nice site. room for a few rigs comfortably. lots of open space to run around. National Forest area with 14 day camp limit. water & toilets are a short drive to nearest rest stop and gas just a short distance beyond that. this section is right next to a cattle grate and the road is fairly busy. car passing every 10-15 min ish. shooting noise nearby. none is bothersome to me but may be if you're looking for complete silence. at&t shows 3 bars lte and T-Mobile is at 1-2. Able to stream Netflix with some minor buffering.

Tons of space. Two bars for t-mobile and dog friendly, but no other amenities. Beautiful red dirt, our favorite. Very scenic to wake up to. First come first serve. Tons of places up the road if this fills up.

Gorgeous and spacious site, room for tons of rigs. Convenient access to Oak Creek Village and Montezuma Well. I stayed here for multiple days because the weather is perfect, the scenery is great, and you meet lots of interesting people! Paved road goes all the way to the site. Verizon service is sometimes 2 bars and sometimes nonexistent.

Report Check-In

Good parking close to a very quiet road. Open fires are OK. space for about 7 vehicles, pretty flat. No other facilities at all. We arrived just before 6pm on a Friday evening in late October, and we took the last spot, so it is clearly popular. continue along the Forest Road to find more spots if this one is full.

Tons of places to camp along this road. High enough in elevation to escape the Phoenix heat.

Love our public lands - pack it in, pack it out, leave no trace!!!

Very good camping option right off the 17 highway. It’s a small space, when I was there there were 4 RV’s but I was able to find a space in the back somewhat removed for my tent. Get here early cause there’s not a lot of space, I’d say 6 or 7 spots in total. The only con was apparently there’s a ranger who gave a recent camper a warning ticket for camping on the grass. If your RV wheels are touching any “vegetation” the ranger freaks out. I didn’t see him on my stay here so I didn’t have problems. The people were really friendly and I made some friends :)

Wow! Awesome BLM! 7 sites! Fire pits, well leveled, place for big rigs, very clean and quiet! Cell coverage : 2 bars !

Report Check-In

4-5 spots around a smallish gravel ring. Nice enough and very easy to access. Some brush provided a bit of privacy in the site I selected, but they are all pretty close to each other. I was only getting one bar with Verizon.

Ran from cold weather in Flagstaff, 2+ bars if t-mobile. Easy access from the interstate.

Fairly quiet spot. Several fire rings. We only had 1 bar Verizon at the site we selected. With cell booster it was okay.

Report Check-In

Good road to go there. Free. No amenities. Trees to feel alone. Near the road so noise from the road. Bugs flying at night.

Report Check-In

Lots of flys (in June)! Great spot close to the Bell Trail. Easy access. 2-3 bars Verizon LTE. 5 Mbps down; 0.3 up.
Room for 4-5 rigs.

Report Check-In

Great location. Easy in and out. Large vehicles no problem. There’s four or five fire rings (sites) in this loop. Noisy during the day as this site is right next to a cattle gate and there’s a lot of daytime traffic in and out of the area. Close to the Bell Trail and river area.

Not far off I17, very quiet, great place to camp for the night to hike to the "crack" tomorrow. We have T-mobile service here.

A nice quite spot right off the paved road. A couple small dirt loops and only fire pits. Nice view of the valley.
