Fruit control point. They requested that we open the trunk. Took us 5 mins. didn’t search into bags/luggage. Not police or customs officers, they were wearing orange helmets.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We passed at 19h, and the guy asked what we carried in the back, "the house," we answered, a laugh and off we go. Not even a check. There is also police after stopping some cara for papers
Report Check-InNothing at all on our way north today. The other side seemed to have a blockade on the road but no one was there controlling anything?
Report Check-InCheck point is still there. Customs and police, but they were all busy with other cars.
Report Check-InWeird and big checkpoint indeed. Did not check us but cars around us had to open trunks.
Report Check-InWe were stopped at the fruit check point. We had just loaded up on produce in Trujillo. They let us through with no issues because we are tourists.
Report Check-InBig and strange control, people with the orange helmets and police. They checked tinted windows and reflection stickers. We were good to go in 10 seconds because we had everything alright.
Report Check-InApparently it’s “fruit control” going north to south. I said yes, and showed them our banana and a grapefruit, and they said “since it’s your first time going through, you can keep it.” Pretty weird, didn’t make much sense. They were friendly though.
Report Check-InWeird check point where they requested to open the trunk. Took us 5 mins.,didn’t search into bags/lugagge. Not police or customs officers, they where wearing orange helmets.
