Just the side of a road along the landing track of a very small airport (no planes at night). For RV higher than 7ft use the exact location, for lower ones you can take whatever place along the fence (lot of space). Nothing special but since there is not a lot of place to boondock in Nelson, it does the job.

We stayed 3 nights with our camper on the gravel right by the airport. No problem at all, a bit noisy because of the train sometimes but great location to stay in Nelson.
Report Check-Ina few campers, I saw a van that was over 7 feet tall with a ticket. there are bathrooms at the plaza and a very nice dog park at the end of the road. there was a bit of bright lights and sirens at night
Report Check-Inperfect for a night in Nelson, very quiet on a Saturday night, wake up at 8:30 am with no one around. city centre at only 10 min walk. of course this spot is convenient only when you look to stay 1 night in the centre of Nelson, it is pretty obvious by looking at the map that you are not in a secluded place so there is nothing wrong with this spot, safe and quiet. I recommend !
Report Check-Instayed there 1 night. good spot for a quiet night.
Noisy from around 6am as it close to all school buses parking lot.
Very quiet at night, but also very noisy in the morning starting at 6am. Many cars and trucks driving pretty fast. I did not get a good sleep here...
