Great spot. Car camping, stayed overnight no problem. Park closer and there's decent Wi-Fi!

It's not officially a rest stop. It's a service area.
bathroom/gas/junk food = 24/7.
but Subway closes 9pm-ish.
not sure about anyone else but I wouldn't mind a Subway sandwich after midnight. Not a bad nap. But I can hear road traffic.

We stayed overnight at this spot with zero issues. There is a sign on the other side of the lot that says 2 hour parking, but as long as you are with your vehicle there should be no problems.
Clean bathrooms with a subway and Dunkin’ Donuts right in the convenience store.
There is a pet area near the Tesla charging stations. For being right off of the highway, we had a surprisingly peaceful and comfortable sleep. I would definitely stop here again for the night if I were to ever come back to the area.

I personally didn’t feel comfortable staying for an entire night. There is a two hour parking sign and this station was very busy on a Friday night. I grabbed a snack and took some photos and headed into NY. Another ioverlander recommend. This place has no parking sign limits and no don’t park overnight signs. Hoping to get a more restful night here.

This place is great. Signs say 1 hr limit but we asked the custodian and she said we were fine as long as we were with our car. They don’t like folks leaving their car for long periods. And we were. Bonus: Dunkin’ Donuts for breakie.

Rest stop on Merritt Parkway. Small RV/van. Parked over by the Tesla charging stations. Stayed a few hours. Noisy and depending on time very busy. Felt safe enough to catch some ZZZs. Facilities open 24/7
