Incredible spot right off the 120E . Grand view of the lake and mountains. Plenty of room, and full Verizon service!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
It's open, no problem. Not everyone's idea of a great wildcamp, but if it's your thing, you can stop here.
Report Check-InThis is not a camp site. It is just a dirt shoulder/pullout on a winding road, that is highly traveled by tourists visiting south tufa and others traveling to Benton. There’s plenty of National Forest dispersed camping but nothing for big rigs/RVs except for the local campgrounds and RV parks.
Report Check-InAs described in previous posts. Easy in and out, fairly level. Very convenient if you want to be at the tufa area at dawn.
Report Check-InAMAZING SPOT. Unbelievable view of Mono Lake and all of the snow capped mountains around it. This is the best spot anywhere around the lake because you don’t need a 4WD, and the view is easily the best. (I scoured all of them).
4 bars Verizon with full LTE!
Report Check-InAs described, just of the road, don't need extra high clearance or 4wd. Great view, nice and quiet
Report Check-InNice spot for a small camper or OLV. right off the 120E . Grand view of the lake and mountains.
