Great location, nice and shady and ok for some food and drinks. Worst showers I've ever experienced at a campsite in all the years I've been traveling. A previous comment a year ago said the owner was working hard to improve, I can't imagine what it was like then. The old lady who served the food was then rude later on demanding we paid for the meal rather than paying for the camping and everything together at the end. We offered a credit card and she took it and still demand cash, had to argue to get the card back!
Also if the barking dogs don't wake you up through the night, the passing freight trans will.

Also, Google doesn't know the road that leads to the place and will take you to the wrong turnout. Coming from direction Batumi, about 1km before the camp, turn to the left at the big Sea Camping sign. 🙂

The hosts are really lovely and helpful. They also run a little cafe with drinks and food. The campsite.for vehicles is just a grass field with no shade. But the cafe is in between big trees and should stay cool even on hot days. Absolutely recommend!

Now called Sea Camping and signposted from the main road. Basic but right on the beach and only 20 lari a night for our family with rooftop tent. Pit toilets and wood-fired hot showers available, bar just opening now. Friendly owner is putting in a lot of work to make improvements at the moment. There is a shop an easy 1km walk away with anything you might need.

The camping was closed at this time of the year but you can park your car just on the beach. Very calm at night. It’s at the dead end of the road so almost no people around you.
