Something not right?

Description

Follow the signs to Hakusembe Lodge from the main road; it is the property directly upstream of them. Lovely authentic campsite directly at the Okawango river, decorated with loving wooden details, swings made from old mokoros, wooden statue, children's swing etc. Spots are on the lawn! Lots of shade and vegetation. Clean and well-kept ablutions, hot shower. There is also a bar, but it was not open after dark. They seem to have also boats for trips. 150 N$ ppn.

It's a plan B if the Hokusembe is complete. It's very near, but not the same quality.
View of the river from the pitches, but the camp leaves an impression of neglect

Lovely rustic campsite. Hot & cold water (electric geyser), power points, tap & braai at each campsite. Lovely and quiet with campsites on the riverfront. Bar and swimming pool to cool off. NAD180/p/p/n.

Directly on the river. Amazing sunset and sunrise from your campsite.
Old ablutions but clean and with a good shower - hot water.

Was really quiet when we stayed there.

Still 150 n$ pp

Indeed a beautifully located campsite. The infrastructure is old but clean and in good working order. 5 of the 6 sites are directly at the river, all have a big braai site, power and light. A pool with shade, a bar who sells drinks and where you have WIFI reception (very slow). Several old boats which are not in working order at the end of the campsite. Dont be put of when you come in as lots of old machines are laying around but it is a distance away from the campsites. We stayed 2 night and will defenitely come back. Still N$ 150ppn.

Report Check-In

Still very good value at $150pppn, well kept, and very quiet.
Highly recommended.

Very nice and simple campsite. Nobody else but us. Near the river. Clean ablutions with hot shower. Braai power and water at each pitch. Quiet night. 150 pp. I recommend

quirky. a bit ramshackle, but in a beautiful spot. and affordable, next door to the wonderful Hakusembe lodge, barely affordable with the Gondwana card. shares the same peaceful river views, with Angolan kids fishing and swimming with Crocs across the river.

Report Check-In

Indeed a very nice place, still N$150pppn
A bit tight and only one site (max two) for big rigs

Report Check-In

Spot is pleasantly quiet and still a bargain at N$150. Firewood, mini bar and a pool at clients disposal.

Report Check-In

Still 150 ppn, lovely green campsites directly on the river, nice view (to Angola).
Big trees for shade.
Clean ablutions: 1 shower-1 basin-1 toilet for ladies and for gents too (per 2 pitches)
