Not much more that a Walmart parking lot if you think of it, fire pits and flush toilets, nothing else for $18/night, less than the average Mexican campground would offer. Electricity only at pull through RV sites for more fee. There is some cell phone signal but no data reception.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Spent 3 nights here and it suited us perfectly for New Years. DV is an amazing place
Report Check-InIt's open again! After 2 months of being closed due to the mega flooding back in August. ...5 bars AT&T H+. (So you have usable data, but you won't be able to stream video or do anything data intensive)
Know that this is the biggest campground in the park. Restaurant, bar, gas, visitors center, etc are walkable if you don't feel like driving.
And realize there are no showers. And the drinking water is very warm!
I prefer Mahogany Flats campground which is wayyyy up high and away from people, but it won't be accessible for a while.
Report Check-InArrived late and left early but good for a night to get into the park and do things early before it's too hot! Water available (but it's quite warm for drinking) There was a self fee payment station.
Report Check-InIT'S HOT! 106° in April. Be prepared. Sites are first come, first serve right now and there was plenty to choose from. Extended network with Verizon.
Report Check-InClean toilets, portable water. Good for when arriving late and spend the night.
Report Check-InReally nice campground, very few sites with shadow, though. Quite crowded on a Thursday, almost no sites. Nice stargazing
Report Check-InAt this time of year, the campground is on a first-come first-served basis. Plenty of room. 18$ for ashphalt entries and some shade...service of flush-toilet only and sinks.
Report Check-InNice place. We have arrived at 11 pm and use automatic payment box. No problem with free spots. Planty of free places. Only toilet. No showers. Enormouse hot during the Night
Report Check-InNational park campground. first come first serve at this time of year. site 110 has lots of shade.
Report Check-Innice, very big (around 170 places) camping, everything you need is there. 16$, self payment in machine. There was a ranger who checked at the morning tickets.
RV 27ft long.
Texas and Sunset campings were closed, so many people on a camping, but no reservation was required.
Quiet with dark skies at night. Traveling with dogs and they’re not allowed off road, even in the campground.
Report Check-InA little better than the other sites in the valley. Has a few trees and close to visitor center.
Report Check-Innice campground, free potable water from the sinks throughout which I thought was very nice. walkable to the visitors center also. most sites has no hookups, fine for us but I thought I'd mention it. many of the sites were open, we arrived after dark and you can pay at the digital kiosk. seriously hot here. I know it's death valley but it didn't get below 80 degrees even at night. we only stayed one night because of that. no generators at night so thankfully it was quiet but as soon as the sun came up people were running generators so the campground is noisy during the day.
Report Check-InGreat campsite. We were lucky enough to get one of the few full-hookup sites. Spacious, clean and centrally located in DVNP.
Report Check-InStandard camping in Death Valley! Has toilet but no showers! $22 for one night!
Report Check-In$36 for full hookups which in summer was well needed. Fire ring and picnic table provided at pull through sites. Don’t need anything fancy for what it is out there. Was just glad to be running the air con
Report Check-InThe privacy is limited, yes, but what do you expect in the middle of the desert? Not feeling that the comparison with Walmart is justified :) 22$/night for dry camping, with firepit and table. Flush toilets. Generator use is only allowed (thank god) between 7am and 7pm.
Report Check-InNice campground in Death Valley! 16 Dollars in summer month. Better than a Walmart ;) but yes, not for free. Stayed here one night and liked it!
Report Check-In$16 a night for no hook-ups.
Potable water nearby, toilets.
No showers.
We found a nice spot with shade.
Death Valley is amazing to visit and this is a central location to see a lot of it.
No wireless but our cell signal worked in campground (other places in Death Valley no cell signal).
Agreed that not much better than Wal-Mart for $22. We had decent data on T-Mobile. Walking distance to Fournace Creek Ranch store, bar, etc. Has dump and water included in price.
Report Check-InNice NPS campground. Mostly open but some sites have spaces to pitch your tent amongst the trees. $18: night w/o hookups, $30 with hookups.
Report Check-InNot much more that a Walmart parking lot if you think of it, fire pits and flush toilets, nothing else for $18/night, less than the average Mexican campground would offer. Electricity only at pull through RV sites for more fee. There is some cell phone signal but no data reception.
