Residential Street Parking | Wild Camping

almost all of the steet parking in this area is unregulated. No signage except laguna street. it is very quiet and we had a good night of sleep. We were on nevada at between national and Centennial st. you can hear the sea lions at night which we found to be very cute.
cell reception with at&t is extremely poor there and even in the whole city

quiet and safe neighborhood. Arrived at 12am, slept in my car, left at 7 and drive 1 back to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Lots of parking, no one on the street

Stayed in this area. Definitely a residential area so try and park up next to a fence and arrive late/leave early. We parked on another street the first night and headed to the beach at around 7.30am. Be respectful and low key.

Stayed on Nevada street and had a very pleasant, quiet evening. The following morning a resident came over to tell us this isn’t an “overnight parking” neighborhood.

nice, quiet spot. no disturbance until the garbage trucks came through early Friday morning. Right across from the path to the beach, very quick walk to the area near surf museum. pleasantly surprised that the bathroom building has a whole little Cafe inside to hit up in the a.m.

Fantastic spot. Very wide street, and not crowded at all. Could have fit 4-5 more vans. Slept throughout the night without being bothered. Very quite!

Not this exact pin but stayed on one of these streets. Residential area so try to keep the volume low but lots of street parking and saw plenty of other vans.

This is a hit or miss area. we are in a converted ambulance and were here after dark. We even picked an area where the fence was high to park on the street and a guy came out and told us this wasn't a campground and that he doesn't want to see us here last 10pm. Very interesting area for sure. We moved just because we don't want trouble but we were respectful and quiet.

Did not stay at this EXACT coordinates but you will find lots of parking in this area with no signs saying otherwise. Did this for 2 nights without issue. Lots of RVs in the area so as long as you're not obnoxious, your vehicle will blend right in.

Quiet residential neighborhood wayyy off the main streets, very peaceful. We spent the night next a fence and with a couple other vans. Arrived around 10pm, left around 9am

Nice quiet parking in residential area. Less than a block away from the beach, which has fairly clean public bathrooms and clean water. Spent two nights here, second night with another van, with no issues. No regulatory signs around. Be discrete so as not to disturb the neighbors.
