Nice park with bathrooms, water, playground and plenty of space for dogs. Nestled in a pretty quiet neighborhood with a bunch of really cool shops and eats a few blocks away.
No signage of any kind. A few other campers parked around the perimeter of the park as well.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spent one night here. Felt very safe, other rigs here as well. Highly recommend Posies Bakery!
Report Check-InStreet parking for free overnight. Saw another rig parked nearby. Quiet neighborhood with light traffic and some train noise. The park does have bathrooms, not sure what time they are open. Shout out to whoever originally posted this place. Very grateful.
Report Check-InStayed for a night with no problems in my van, 3 other van/RV/campers parked along the park as well. Neighbourhood felt safe and the bathrooms were fine, weird to not have doors on the stalls but they were clean and they weren’t busy. Left around 10:00 am and bathrooms had been unlocked when I checked around 9:00 am.
Report Check-InNice park with lots of street parking and houses or businesses on the other side. There were only two other people sleeping there as far as I could see, but it felt safe. Traffic was quiet after around 9. Bathrooms are weird, no doors to the stall, but fine to use. I saw the guy lock them around 7:45 and they were still locked when I left in the morning.
Report Check-Insuch a chill spot, a couple tweakers here and there but for the most part it was chill, bus comes right by the south side road late at night so you gotta be a heavy sleeper.
Report Check-Inreally nice park! the street parking can fill up as night starts to roll in, and the kids and families typically quiet down and leave later. I can’t speak for the men’s restroom, but the women’s was pretty basic, good if you really need to go. There’s not much privacy though - There are two stalls and a sink with no doors on either stall, just a small wall separating, unnerving if you’re pee or poo shy lol, and the outdoor door is chained open. Really vast grass areas for pets and relaxing without an overwhelming amount of people! Like others have said, definitely shorter term 1-2 nights max, it is still a neighborhood with homes ya know.
Report Check-InStreet parking near a park. Public restrooms closed sometime between 7-9pm. Park had kids playing basketball til around 10pm. Not too noisy. Some (drunken I think) aggressive screaming match was going on around 9:30pm in front of someone’s house that I was parked in front of. Lots of yelling between a guy and his son I think. Aside from that… peaceful night and I felt safe. Happy camping! :-)
Report Check-InDefinitely perfect stay for a night outside of the city. Park gets a little traffic at about 8:00am
Report Check-InAbsolutely perfect for one night. Our two little ones got to enjoy the playground and spray park and the restroom is clean and open. We saw a few other vans but mostly people enjoying the park for the day. The spray park is wonderful! 2 bars of Verizon.
Report Check-Innice park to hang out in! locals are friendly and pretty chill residential neighborhood. felt reasonably safe for camping in the city. bathrooms are not open right now but there is a portapotty for emergencies.
Report Check-InWe parked by the park right by the outdoor restaurant. Great spot and it was quiet after the sunset. The bathrooms had no doors so if you want privacy, check out a port-a-potty
Report Check-InReally cool place in a nice neighborhood. We got here around 3pm and there were virtually no one. By 7 pm rolled around, lots of other rigs came by. As others have noted, lots of car noise and some goes really fast so be careful. Otherwise, it's great. Our dogs loved the park and the neighbors seemed to really want to keep this place clean. so please clean up after yourself. Leave it better than you found it.
Report Check-InNot a bad place to spend the night. Restrooms are closed for the season. Lots of dogos getting walked in the morning. Pro tip: park on Brandon and roll your right wheels onto the curb and you will be nearly level.
Report Check-InBack here again, its become one of my go to spots. Just don't mess it up!!
Report Check-InAs described, nice grassy park in a cool neighborhood. There aren't any parking restriction signs posted. A few others look to be enjoying the space, too. At the time of this post we are 6 days into Covid-19 "social distancing", and it is becoming more difficult to find a park-up for the night. Too many people at home with nothing else to do but run nomads off their street. Once asked to leave a spot, I rarely return. But with little money and no work for the unforeseen future I can't afford to head to the hills for BLM or NFS land. Please be cool and don't abuse this location, full-timers rely on places like this to survive.
Report Check-InQuiet enough street, no signage for timed parking. Basketball courts and a playground. Plenty of other campers around. Toilets within the park.
Report Check-InNice place to park near the city. The traffic calms a lot once night fell. I'm not a fan of boondocking in town but it's go the job. I advise you not to park under the hazel tree because there are several and it wakes up badly in the middle of the night.
