Nice campground right on the river with nice walking paths. It was not very busy when we were there so we had open spaces on both sides of us but the spaces had 15-30 feet between them depending on the spot. It was $37 a night but also had a vehicle fee of $10 so $47 total. Very convenient off the highway with not too much noise (we were in one of the furthest spots from the road). Showers were free and there was a potable water pump.
Report Check-Inclean Campground with all the facilities. And yes, there is road noise. And yes you can hear the train. However, once inside my camper van I slept well it’s convenient location off of 70 I would stay here again one night is good
Report Check-Intop notch Colorado State Park campground. 60 sites plus some tent sites. variety of electrical and full hookups. tent camping is for tents only e.g. you can't park your van in a tent site. heated bathrooms with showers, flush toilets. this is not the right campground for you if you would like to get away. it's wedged between i-70 and the rail line. I consider myself a light sleeper but I did not find the noise to be a problem inside my van.
Report Check-InYes, off the freeway. Yes, train tracks nearby. But I’m a heavy sleeper and I’ll take a state park where the sites aren’t lining you up like cattle over an RV park any day.
Report Check-InGreat campground. Hot showers, shade cover, fire rings, very clean bathrooms (pit & flush), walking trail along Colorado River. Some ambiant road & occasional train noise. Fabulous views!
Report Check-InSkip this one. Really noisy and overpriced. You are assured a restless night's sleep as this campground is between the freeway and the train tracks. $32 a night, plus a $9 per day per vehicle. Since I was there overnight or two days I paid $50. For that price the tables should be nice and the showers free.
Report Check-Inthe camproung is ok butbis really really noise. it's located next to the hy. we spend a night here. won't backa again. more noise than rest areas.
price: 8 USD per day use if you don't have a colorado state pass + 35 USD hook up site.
you can use the damp station ir you have the pass o if you pay for the day use fee but you don't camp.
Report Check-InNow $31 including mandatory day use fee. Hot showers and wind shelters.
Report Check-InTodays price for a tent $ 25. Hot showers are coin operated but doors were closed at the time. Toilets open and very clean. Extremely quiet campground so you can hear the road at 300 meters.
Report Check-InVery beautiful campground with all services. Tents 16$, electricity 20$, full 30$. Park fee car 7$
