Highly recommend, especially for children. 5 and under are free and the Honey Badger has been released back into the wild which is a sign this place is fulfilling its purpose which is so encouraging.
Report Check-InAn NGO project dedicated to studying TB and health equity. As a side project they rescue injured animals. Plenty of snakes and large birds. They also have some members of the cat family, Genet, Civet etc. BWP 35 for adults. Kids BWP 10 - under 5 years go free. Guided tours at 11h, 13h and 15h. At other times you can roam the premises. Some animals can be petted. Great fun for children.
Report Check-InThis place is pretty cool to see those rare animals you haven’t seen in the wild. Still 35pp. You can touch the honey badger.
Report Check-InReally lovely and informative! We enjoyed our unguided walk around this place for 35 pulas pp, reading the plaques and learning about the different animals. All staff extremely friendly and welcoming. A guided tour costs 65 pulas pp and after having an informal chat with a few of the staff members I do think it’d be worth it. Our highlights were seeing the honey badger, caracal, genet, verreaux eagle owl and the meerkats groom the warthog! Each animal has its own story of how it ended up at caracal and the staff do everything they can to release those who can survive back in the wild.
