City park by Little Lake. We slept in our van in the parking for one night with no problem. It was quiet until 7h30 am. There is a free beach nearby, and the park is overall really pretty. There is a campground next to the park where you could ask for a shower.

Fine place in the middle of the city. You have two options here:
Pay for the campground which is pretty expensive. 50$ for a tent spot for a night and the shower isn't included. Gate was open and I didn't see a single person working there.
Sleep in the huge parking outside the gate. A RV did this and I should have done that too.
Was great until the city workers were sweeping the asphalt in the middle of the night with their bright lights.
Report Check-InEasy carefree spot with lots of shade. Various parking areas to choose from. Ideal for late landings. Close to bike trail leading to town across former rail bridge.
Notes: at the time of our visit, the beach was close due to COVID and probably for the same reason, the campground did not give access to the showers unless one paid for a day use fee (17.50$).
Nice quiet little lot next to a lock.
Young folks working the lock were really kind and helpful - gave us a key to the washrooms in the lock keepers office when I mentioned we planned on boondocking for the night.
A great place to spend the night. Fairly quiet after dark except for the occasional car on the road beside. Toilets were open all night.
Report Check-InGood place to crash! Close to the beach and clean washrooms. We asked the camping and now it’s 17,50 for the shower. They said I could share it with my husband, but we decided to find a cheaper one.
Report Check-InUn peu bruyant à cause de la route en soirée mais le bruit s’est estompé rapidement. Endroit qui fait bien pour une nuit.
Report Check-InVery nice park by the campground. A huge Cl A that would not fit in the camping pulled over for the night. You can hear passing cars on the road but overall a Good night.
Report Check-InStayed overnight in the parking lot. One other camper van came in after us and stayed the night too!
There is actually a campground here! It was closed for the season when we were here though.
If you have a taller rig, watch for branches when you park!
The lot is access to a couple of lovely parks and bike trails. There is a large public restroom in the park too.
