Cute little group campsite that would hold 2-3 different vehicles. Not big trailers though. Road fairly rough on the way up once you get past Lake Lenore on the right. Basically is a single lane road for a stretch. No cell service. Quiet and protected from the wind in this area — right close to the creek! Very wooded and pretty! Would definitely stay here again. Took our truck camper up here and stayed for 2 nights. Huge campfire ring in the middle & at the site straight ahead when you pull in. About 10 min outside of Ouray!
Report Check-InNice spot for the night. The creek was great to listen to while sitting around the camp fire. There is enough room for at least 2 vehicles. Road to get to it was a little rocky in some areas but we had no problem in our van.
Report Check-InAwesome spot off of a dirt road right next to Dexter creek just north of Ouray. Creek provided awesome white noise to sleep soundly to.
