Large area on the side of the road; next to, and overlooking, the river. Beautiful view, very quiete. A bit further down the road there is room for small vehicles and tents closer to the river since it is lower.
Gran area al costado de la ruta; al lado y con vista al rio. Precioso paisaje, muy tranqui. Mas adelante la calle baja hacia el rio y ahi hay lugar para carpas y vehículos chicos.

Lovely spot! Good instructions, go down at the south end of the pull out. There is a big level spot you can turn around in, or (ideally with 4x4) you can go even further down but you’ll need to back out up the small hill. The road is narrow by bushes so you’ll bash through them a bit. Easy access to the river. Stayed one peaceful night during the busy season, there was 1 other tent at the other end of the space when we were there. Keep it clean!
Report Check-Innice spot between the road and the river. the spot is a little bit more to the south than the marker if you are on the marker. only thing is the small noise of the road and the lot of bugs
Report Check-InPark there for the night at the middle field. we found a flat Space but it was difficult. we washed ourself in the beautiful river down ! 2 people sleeping in tents near the river.
Report Check-Inthere is a big pullout at this pin. at the southern end there is a road to the water. in 100m there is big wide turnaround spot out of sight of the road that is pretty level. big rig friendly. definitely no need for 4x4.
Report Check-InParamos pra fazer nosso almoço.
O local fica na beira da rodovia. Durante o dia param muitas pessoas pra lanchar, esticar as pernas.
nice and quiet place - i really like it here!
halfway down you can park a car, next to the river there is space for a tent (or two smaller ones), can hear traffic a bit (not much at night), but the river is anyway louder
We stayed overnight as down to the river as possible. 4x4 recommended to reach the spot. 4x2 can stay a bit higher on the road, which is good too. We needed some huge stones to level the car, since the ground is not very flat. We preferred this spot because it is a bit more hidden from RN 40 and less noisy. Access to the river, which is shallow enough for crossing if you want to and excellent for a bath.
Report Check-InFrom El Boston to Bariloche, there is a gravel road around 50m before the brige on the left. It’s just on the beginning of the parking area.
The track go down near a hidden space where we can pich our tent and there is an acces to the river. It’s clean and the view is great !
Nice little space overlooking the beautiful river. Calm. Fire possible down on the shore. We were there with a small van, the road down is narrow buy there are bigger spot closer to the road.
Report Check-InFrom south to north, at the beginning of the bridge in the left side, you can find a place not visible from the router to set up the tent. Local people during the day. The place is a bit dirty, a lot of toilet paper. It is possible to go down to the river.
Report Check-InNice spot to stop bw El Bolson and Bariloche.
Quiet. With locals during the day. Lots of toilet paper everywhere.
The "bush camp" is accessible only to 4wd as the slope is steep.
My tip : sleep at the bush camp (quieter because further from the road) but in the morning, go to the main parking to enjoy the view on the river.
I forgot to upload some photos.
Take your trash with you in every place you visit please, toilet paper is included.
Report Check-InPeople, TAKE YOUR TOILET PAPER WITH YOU PLEASE. You are leaving a lot of trash next to a natural potable water river.
It’s very sad how a nice and natural camping spot is deteriorated bc tourists trash.
The place looks amazing, there are a few spots to put your tent, but when you start getting into the bushes, you’ll find a lot of trash and toilet paper, very sad.
Report Check-InStayed there for 2 nights on the right side of the bridge coming south. perfect for a tent under the big tree. easy access to the river and there is a tiny sand beach to relax. great spot.
It's indeed a beautiful place, hidden from the road, easy access to the river for refreshment and drinking water from the tiny waterfall.
The only problem was it's getting really cold down there. You can literally feel the temperature decreasing coming down the hill and going down to the river. In the morning the sun doesn't reach the place, so we didn't manage to dry our tent and stuff. Luckily you stop freezing within minutes as soon you have to cycle up hill again ;)
Access South side of bridge down small road. Very quiet at night. Great private spot as cars on road can't see you.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot along the river. Little trafic during the night.
Cyclists/hikers: Coming from the south, cross the bridge and cross over to the left side as soon as the bridge/fence finishes. Follow the trail (a little muddy) about 100m in and you'll find space for several tents, fire pit, access to the river to swim and a waterfall further in the forest to fill up water.
Report Check-InIt is probably located in the wrong place. We camped but on the other side. I would not put my house there forever, but if you pass by bike for a night,it is a good place to be. Water around, and yes, some trash too.. but not as much as I was expecting when I read this... anyway... if you bike and this is the place to set your tent, it is good. If you have a car and you can leave, of course I would not stay...
Report Check-InWe stopped here for lunch on the side of the road. Next to a river, looked like you would need a 4x4 to get down to it. Rubbish around, probably noisy at night by the road.
Report Check-Inwent here when it was raining. place fita barely one tent. we hitchhiked back to el boison because the place was no good at all
Report Check-InLarge area on the side of the road; next to, and overlooking, the river. Beautiful view, very quiete. A bit further down the road there is room for small vehicles and tents closer to the river since it is lower.
