Small gravel parking in the city of Stewart. No sign "No overnight parking" but just opposite a private residence.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This site is closed. We camped here, and the owner knocked on our door to let us know we were on private land and they do not want people camping on this lot. Don't be fooled by the travel trailer and boat parked there. It belongs to them, not a fellow boondocker!
Report Check-Ingravel lot seems sketch at first but it was a nice quiet place to camp, the spot is a lot smaller in early spring because of the snow pack
Report Check-InI checked that out and didn't like it all, it is small, there is some commercial machinery parked and it is right opposite of a private residence.
Went to the communal campground down the road instead with no regrets.
We slept here one night ! Large parking near the road but quiet !!
Report Check-InWe were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to visit Stewart that had an ATT/Telus signal to do some trip planning. We’re self-contained in our 8 metre (25 foot) MH and don’t use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in September. We had intended to check at the Visitor Center regarding this site and it had closed early. We spoke to another RVer who had spent 2 nights at this site without issues. We spent one night in this level, gravel parking lot. No issues. Quiet night. Good ATT/Telus and Verizon/Bell cell signals.
