Beautiful spot right on the edge of the cliffs. Incredible views of the colorful erosions, ocean and the baobab dotted landscape in-between. Leave the main road towards Praia da Onca ( track is on Google maps, Maps.me and T4A), shortly after passing the fish market building find a more offroad-like track leading towards the cliff and make your way to the GPS location stated... for us this is just an incredible place to stay, it's possible to walk along the edge of this small "Bryce Canyon"
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The village expanded next to this point. You will camp next to a house with a small corn field. People are nice, want some money for overnight staying.
We didn’t sleep here, just stopped for photos. No big privacy anymore
Report Check-Inamazing spot for camping and enjoying a wonderful view, the only difficulty for me is the sandy offroad to reach the place as am cycling but its not that long distance
Report Check-InWe would only come here (not to the official place - it's the same view). But the place is amazing, really beautiful. There are a few motorbikes and cars on the track further away, so you'll probably be seen but we were completely on our own, nobody bothered us. Although :D soooo many monkeys came by in the early morning, it was a real spectacle. We watched them for ages, marvellous. Be awake, it’s worthy.
Report Check-InStill a beautiful and so pleasant area. Perfect place to spend the week end very close to the busy Luanda and its garages (our Hilux being fixed at Rijo).
We spent one night up there and one night down at turtle beach.
Dont know which one is best.
Awesome spot! Quiet night, great view! Cloudy the day we were there but still cool!
Report Check-InWhat an amazing view here ! So many places to camp. Really safe and Quiet place. Low 3G
Report Check-Inindeed this is a beautiful wild camp! don't miss it! definitely in the top 10 of the best wild camp since morocco
Report Check-InAmazing place ! Quiet, beautiful view and a lot of space. Not easy to be perfectly flat and lots of mosquitoes at night. But really worth it ! We stayed 3 nights there, good Unitel service.
Report Check-Ingreat spot on top of the 60 m high and colorful cliff. When I arrived I saw some monkeys, but not when I set up camp. I saw only one guy passing by, but it seemed ok. Very quiet, comfortable breeze and lots of mosquitoes. Definitely worth to stay here.
Report Check-InA spectacular spot, a view over the ocean, moon landscape canyon and some naughty monkeys paying a visit... they were taunting our dog, it was funny to watch! Stunning, no regrets making the effort to go there it's well worth it!
