This campsite is just off the main road. Level. And next to a roaring river. There is access to the water but parked high enough to be safe. Room for several big rigs or to hide a tent. Hot days, cool nights. This IS visible from the main road but no one cares. Catarata velo de plata is up the dirt road, check the map on the sign before heading there. No cell service here. Just across the next bridge is a military post.

Nice spot with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. We stayed for one night and it was quiet and we felt very safe.
Report Check-InIt’s a quiet place to sleep during the night, suitable for all rigs, not very leveled though. Passed sunset only few cars pass through the bridge and continue the oposite direction, traffic on the small road that leads to this place picks up only in the morning around 8am. Since it’s surrounded by a lot of tall vegetation you’re somewhat hidden.
Report Check-InGreat spot alongside the river, several tents can easily fit under what's left of a roof
Village nearby did not bother, only a few vehicles after sunset
Took a bath in the river, beware of high current & slippery rocks, but no sharks as far as I know
Be careful for little holes in the roof for the rain, also if in tent, I recommend to ce careful about its positionning. It rained this night and one of our tents ended up sitting in the middle of a small puddle - go for that 5cm elevation to have a good night!
