Description

This quite new location is not to find in maps.me, but it is nearby the leopard loop. It’s not behind the gate, so you don’t have to pay the parks entrance fee. We found a very well managed lodge with nice and very clean bandas, with shower and toilet. Ourselfes we used our rooftops. They cook very good meals, and make nice breakfast. Toilets, showers, everything is very clean and even the architectural and interior design of the housing is beautiful. Animals, sometimes cross the site, and you can see them without paying for the park. Nearby you can start a boat trip to Kazinga Channel. It’s worth to do this. Very friendly staff and Robert the mangaer is a friendly and helpful person.
Pricing Banda: 60USD ppn, full board. Camping 10USD ppn for staying overnight.

You can camp in this place for 38000. Nice staff, very welcoming, quiet place. They offer food but quite expensive for budget travelers. If you go to the restaurant at the village 500 m away, make sure to go before dark, otherwise they will no let you go because of wild animals

Amazing place. We were able to camp for 10USD and put our tent up inside the restaurant area for safety from hippos. So much wildlife around at night, the staff dim the lights so the animals can come close and they help you to spot different animals with a torch. Food was amazing. Wi-fi great, phone signal also great. Staff were wonderful. Toilets and shower very clean. It’s in the free-zone of the park so no entry fee. Would recommend staying here even if you have paid for park entry as you see just as many animals (probably more) as camping by the lake. Rooms are also beautiful with outdoor rainforest showers so it’s worth taking a look, I believe they were 40USD.
