Description

A staircase made of salt in the middle of the salt flats. It's an art installation by Bolivian artist Gaston Ulgade - called "Stairway to Heaven". Supposedly it will be gone once the wet season comes.

access to this staircase is free. the staircase is not in very good condition but you can take beautiful photos there. we went there with our 15 ton vehicle with the flooded salar.

l’accès à cet escalier est gratuit. l’escalier n’est pas en très bon état mais on peut y faire de belles photos. nous y sommes allés avec notre véhicule de 15 tonnes avec le salar inondé.
