On the road to Querque and not far from the road to Huambo, very nice remote pampa. You won’t be disturbed by anyone.

Same description as 2020. Safe clean spot!

An abandoned house just next to the road. Nothing special. Enough space for two two person tents. You are not super hidden but at least 40m from the Road and Most importantly sheltered from the wind. There are also some small caves in case it’s pouring rain.

it is as discussed. rough road in and a basic pull-out grassed. very secluded and quite. I hear cow but not that close. road dry. stayed 1 night

Stayed here 1 quiet night without issues. Verizon cell service is good

Nice sandy beach. Deep sand, so air down. Rough waves. This spot seems to be less preferred by the surfers. So there are fewer people…at least today that is the case. Please pick up your trash and pack out your used toilet paper!

Stayed for the night and did Walls of Jericho trail

Great view on the lake. Safe. Some people come during the night to enjoy the place but very respectful. Spend one night in a Campervan

very nice free campground . very large place , just no cellular signal !

Couldn’t give us fuel for a single factura price as we needed more than 80l. He said, his boss don’t like it. He sent us to the other YPFB in town.

Has still a decent choice of vegetarian dishes.
We loved the Anden salad. Food is good and cheap.

The staff is just lovely. Nice atmosphere.
Good WiFi and they allow you to stay several hours.

Stayed for 3 hrs before I was woken up by the police and told the park was closed and that I had to leave. I wouldn't recommend trying to stay here.

University drive on the street, a couple of good level spots. here on a friday night not a soul. Beautiful walk around the bay. Stay stealth! place is a gem !

Such a beautiful and well designed camping! The bathroom feels like a spa with a heater and a lovely scent. The dishwashing sinks are large and you get hot water! The area itself is relaxing: it’s so nice to be surrounded by trees. We visited in low season and were the only guests. Because of the very rainy weather we could only stay one night. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Had to sleep here for a night and felt safe. Bathrooms are available, pretty sure they're open all night long but we didn't go after 10pm. There are showers too! Road noise wasn't bothersome at all.

Little rest stop right off highway 20. We put water in our rv tank from the east end faucet. Works fine and is potable although we are not using it to drink. We didn’t fill our tank all the way as it free and didn’t want to abuse the privilege. We just needed enough to use for toilet as we are going to boon-dock nearby. Be sure to leave the handle in a partially up position or it will slowly keep running. We didn’t use the restrooms so no report on those.

the parking lot was a little loud on a Friday night but still a nice place to stay

Decent showers at a swimming pool. When we mentioned to the ticket lady that we just wanted to shower, she charged us 1$ per person (4$ is for using the pool as well I belive).
We were there around noon on Friday and I was the only person in the mens bathroom.

Estacionamento público e gratuito próximo ao Praça do Amor. Super tranquilo. Sem facilidades. O Estacionamento é somente para veículos pequenos. Nós viajamos com uma Suzuki Grand vitara, as vagas são para carros pequenos.

The park is open. We stayed during the night. It has a lake and places to barbecue, a place for children play and many many trees. Its a huge, peacefull and beatifull place.

Incredible views and incredible wind. Our Sprinter is being constantly buffeted even though we’re parked facing into it. Side on we’d really be rockin and rollin! It’s easy to get level though facing any which way. No doubt not like this all the time and the easy access makes this a winner. There are several hikes further south which we’ll explore.

Decently noisy from overpass but didn’t bother us, slept with windows slightly open. Easy stay, felt safe with many other campers in the lot with us.

A good place to rest or sleep along the way, but many more people than in other camps.

Great quiet spot about 200-300m after the bungee parking, the road gets a bit rough but ok at least to get here (unless maybe if you have a big rig..) We were here with our small SUV (no 4W) - the spot is slightly inclined but still really ok to sleep. Do make sure to not leave any trash though - we found some alu foil and plastic from previous campers which we cleaned.

Drove by May 2024. Was occupied but looked to be in good condition.

Tried staying at Planet Fitness. Security knocked at 11pm said cops start patrol at 11:30pm to 4am will ticket you and tow vehicle. He said to park in dirt lot across the street. So we did. Some other cars here and a couple semi’s. By highway. Level. Not bad at all only 3 minutes walk to PF. Other than highway noise it was a good nights stay.

Informal camping site on the beach. Toilets nearby. Parking lot with a lot of local RV's. Beach filled with tents of various sizes. Very popular place for locals.
