The standard campsite is 430 NAD for the site per night incl. up to 4 persons, incl. braii, water, sink, electricity, mostly under trees, toilette and hot showers nearby. So the price is really reasonable and worth it There are also luxury campsites, more expensive.
The pool located completely in the Zambezi River is reached by a boat shuttle, and you swim in Zambezi water. You can sometimes see hippos and crocodiles swimming by.
A beautiful terrace, nice staff and a very nice owner make your stay absolutely recommended.
Access road is bumpy but well driveable.

This is a nice laundromat that uses an app to take credit cards. They have a nice size parking lot, wifi (password is washfold), it is open 24hrs, clean and they have bathrooms that don't require a key. I did my laundry and then stayed in the parking lot to use the wifi to complete some work.

To cross the river it’s possible with 2WD.
The depth of the river needs to be checked before but for us it was not an issue because we have 4WD but the vehicle behind us was a van so after I cross the small river, the van (van camper) took the same way without issue (you can see the picture)

The tarred road ends at Sibebe Rock (coming from Mbabane). This gravel road is easy to drive when dry and very scenic. You indulge in rural eSwatini and can enjoy the lovely landscape.

Crossing from Guatemala to Mexico with a van with german plates.

As of today 29.04.2024 we were sent to another guatemalan Border (south) cause they told us the Mexico side is closed and they are not letting people in. Now for some weeks. It was up to us if we wanted to try and wait at the Mexican side, where sometimes they open for an hour or so.
but cause they all told us it was not safe at the moment we decided to drive to another crossing.

Be aware that the next crossing north of here is only for people and not for cars, there is no aduana.

Super friendly Oil Service Station for Cars and small Vans (height limit around 3m).
He hadn‘t the right Oil for our Citroen, but he was able to get in in 15 minutes.
They also changed our fuel filter and Air Filter for the same price (we brought the parts)

They have a waiting room with wifi and coffee.

This is a wonderful place to stop! We stayed overnight and it was quiet, we didn’t hear the interstate at all. We met some other very friendly van-lifers. We stayed the next day and worked all day in the van. By law you can only stay up to 24 hours, so we’ll be sure to leave before we hit that time. Staff inside is very friendly. Amazingly clean bathrooms. And there is a water bottle fill station that we used to fill up some gallon jugs of water. There are picnic tables and shelters and a few nice grassy areas.

We slept 2 nights in this place and it was very quiet and safe. There is a 24-hour Terpel station on the corner and there is a supermarket nearby.

Dormimos 2 noites neste local e foi bem tranquilo e seguro. Na esquina tem um posto Terpel 24h e tem supermercado próximo.

Trailhead for a multi-use Greenway and Rail to Trail adjacent to a small park with lake, picnic tables, portable toilet, grill, and dumpsters. The trailhead parking lot is by a large building of unknown use. No one was in it Sunday night or Monday morning. Very quiet at night. Lots of birds and waterfowl. I was undisturbed by any officials, though a parks and rec truck pulled through the lot early in the morning. The parking lot is relatively level. Rode my bike south on the trail in the morning 4.5 miles to the trail end. In the northern direction, it goes for 60ish miles.

Great new restaurant with awesome food and food prices. Clean! Open all day long. Benito, Rosa,Alana and Cynthia could not be friendlier nor more accommodating than they were! We rented the palapa right next door for 250pesos a night. Even though we were in a truck camper and had shaders the palapa is a must! We got no potable water from the restaurant because we kept extending our stay! Aqua Verde is a special place and this family makes it even more so! Oh and they have great WiFi

Nice rest area with all the amenities you could need. Change machine, water fountain, vending machines, clean bathrooms, recycling bins, benches to sit down with outlets nearby to charge anything you need. Very safe place, police rolled through a few times before I got to sleep. Some homeless people frequent this spot but they're nice people. Very little truck noise, didn't bother me at all. Free drinking water.
We stopped here to fill up our fresh water tank on our 30’ fifth wheel RV. The sign says “drinking water”. Pulling along the curb was no problem, as there was plenty of room for cars to get around us. Look for the big sign that says “drinking water”.
