SomosLibres | This is a parking option in the middle of Puno, but for rigs which are not more than 2.5 meters tall. It's a small garage so you will have to go there and check if there is space but I left my van here for 10 days while I went to Arequipa by bus and paid 15soles per day and had no issues. |

troopy_pb | Perú to Bolivia with a dog: As all the others described: easiest and fastest border Crossing ever. The woman from Bolivian customs came outside to check the VIN and have a quick look in the car. She saw our dog and couldn't care less. No documents needed. Change your money on the Bolivian side or in the streets of Copacabana. The exchange rate for Soles, Dollars or Euros is 20% higher than the official rate and what you get from the ATM. So it's even worth it to take out a good bunch of Soles, if you don't have US$. |

Rafikiontour.com | We found this place on satellite after the one east seemed less then ideal. A nice place, with plenty of space for everyone! Hard sandy area, easily accessible and no walking through the bush necessary. Very slow Mascom signal with extra antennas on our router. |

muteworkshop40 | What an amazing place! A few grassy spots to choose from, if you bring your own vehicle and nice, clean ablutions. The common room is the best I’ve seen in my life, it‘s a cozy mountain cabin style building with a huge wooden wine barrell built into it, a fully equipped kitchen, couches, a fire place and a little balcony overlooking the river. The host is very friendly, open-minded and enthusiastic about what he‘a doing. His next project consists in converting an ancient double decker bus into an accommodation, amazing! We paid 330 Rand for 2 persons in a roof tent, highly recommend the place!! |

From Boise, To | We had every intention of staying here during our drive but the wind was much too strong. As stated in the marker just south of here, this is a well graded 2-lane road. The campsites along the rim are spectacular. The views are great and the sites are well off the road. |

wittycloak15 | Isolated and peaceful. There was some train noises throughout the night but was not overly loud. Only one other camper was there. The first toilet area was locked but second was open and clean. Heard coyotes during the night and woke up to a deer grazing near our camp sight. Over all pretty cool but takes a while to get there. |

bettinadownunder | this is the first place along this road (coming from the coast) where you can really park and camp. Everything before are driveways or tiny pull-outs in views of houses. Much better to drive to here |

bettinadownunder | The first larger pull-out is opposite the airport runway (marked separately in iOverlander). Coming from the coast, everything before is a driveway or tiny pull-out in view of houses. Much better to continue to up here. |

apeatang17 | Just a big parking lot nestled in between some trees, nothing fancy but it works. I came out to stay at Columbine Landing but it was closed so I was very glad to find thus spot as most of the other lots have no camping signs. Also, the coordinates must have been updated because it brought me to the right spot. |

Jay | Stayed here late April a couple other people campaign around there is signal on t - mobile in a couple spots but the more most private spots are on the other side of lake without signal and unlike previous reviews lake is definitely small but not super small and most definitely not a pond also this lake has pretty good fishing right from your spot in most places, definitely a pleasant little place I'll be back again! |
