The Altitude is different. It is 2900m above sea level. Good to know. Nice friendly people.

Stayed 1 night. Great spot. Quiet with only occasional vehicles driving by. could fit vans in if you work together otherwise perfect for 1 being able to pull about 50ft off road.

This is a large open field located behind a church. Maybe it's the church parking lot.There is no sign anywhere. There are no fire rings.There are no trash cans.There are no picnic tables. Though a sign entering the town suggested that a picnic grove was off this street, matching the GPS coordinates. I know that it is only 8 days since the last person checked into this spot and tire tracks can be seen in the grass so obviously, something has very recently changed. It is located in a very quiet residential community. I did not stay.

Beautiful campground. Bathroom with hot shower and covered picnic area.

Big Grass Campsites with electricity, clean ablution at the foot of a spectacular mountain.

Great place to stay for the night. lots of food options, typical truck stop fare. Well lit, good service on Verizon, 4 bars. I asked induce and they were very friendly. Next to the I 5 but not too loud IMO.

Nice campsite. Bit close to main road, so lots of traffic noise.
Clean ablutions, fast Wifi, own braaipit and ducks. P140pppn. Relatively run down though.

The place is amazing, but it’s not petfriendly!

Highway 20 is among the the worst public highways we have driven once off pavement and in the middle section. Between Kilometer 51 and 83 the excellent pavement ends and the road is a continuous strip of rocky potholed dust. We averaged 6mph/10kmh for the dirt section. Three and a half hours in our two wheel drive heavy van. It’s not difficult or technical but plan to air down for comfort. There are restaurants at each end of the dirt section to rest and eat but in the middle there is nothing but national park forest. Not even any views to speak of as the trees close in the road. The peak is at 10,600 feet /3400 meters. Absolutely horrible road. San Agustin archeological park was great so I hope Popayan is.

The hotel was closed, in the shop nearby they told me that the owners weren’t there.

We stopped there yesterday but it seemed closed and not well maintained. Couldn't find anyone there so not sure if it is closed or not.

Dispersed NF camping along this road. Well spaced, fire ring, good AT&T. Easy access and relatively flat spots.

2-3 bars T-Mobile 5G here at the lower parking lot (deep sand 4x4). 30 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up!

Basic hostel but location is fantastic. Incredible views and very close to termales. Restaurant and little tienda onsite. Parking available.

Don't miss out on this place. Absolutely authentic experience of Argentinian atmosphere and delicious meat, really. I had a great night there, even on my own. Watch out with the parrillada, heard from other people that the portion for two is actually rather for three or four people, and I could see many people having trouble eating more than half of the meat (since you add a sidedish/guarnición)

Good stop after/before the border crossing from or to Tanzania. Parked in back entrance to the lodge next to the ablutions which is perfect. Supper in the restaurant. Bream snd chicken on the menu. Staff very friendly. Excellent overnighter after long day on the road.

Beautiful and peaceful state campground.

Although many do it, per the Mount Saint helens Institute, overnight camping is not allowed at this location. Your mileage may vary with enforcement.
