April 2022: No Overnight parking signs
April 2023: there are 3 signs 20 feet up on light posts. most Wal*Marts have many more - they put them up so they can evict squatters.
Spruce Hill Walmart, Murphy gas nearby no diesel

Signs say no overnight parking, but I called ahead and they said one night in 24 hours is okay as long as you’re at the edge near the mexican restaurant. Nobody knocked/told me to leave. I got there at like 9pm and I left to go see the sunrise on the parkway in the morning.
Report Check-InSpent the night in my RV without incident (as did another RV and a van conversion). did not ask permission. very safe Wal*Mart/ neighborhood (in significant contrast to the sketchy feel / crackheads all over in Ashville).
Report Check-InI called ahead and they said overnight parking is allowed and they prefer you park on the edge of the parking lot near the Mexican restaurant. When you look on Google maps you will see a truck is parked there.
