6/23/21 UPDATE: Dump Station WAS REMOVED according to front desk employee.
OK to park overnight, room for a few big rigs.

Checked with staff at returns desk and they directed my to the 5 parking spaces they have for overnight. There were two 18 wheelers and an RV already there. I parked up and had a very peaceful night.
Report Check-InNice large well-lit lot. There was an empty police car in front of the store, so we panicked for a second (coming in at midnight so no one to call), but there was a Class A, a Class B, a semi, and a car in the next lot over, so we found a spot among them. Still at Cabelas but not in the main lot.
Report Check-InNice level pull through parking. Some transports in same area but all good. No wifi at Cabelas but walking distance to a few different restaurants.

Arrived around sundown, spoke with sales assistant who said overnighting was fine, but if we could please park away from the building towards the back of the lot. We picked up a few supplies. (We could spend days in this store!) Light traffic noise overnight. Good for a one night stop. Very clean bathrooms.
Report Check-InWe arrived at 6pm went shopping. then went to the walmart just down the road you can't stay at the walmart they had security driving the parking lot. so we went back to cabellas. stayed with no issues. there was 2 other vehicles in the parking lot
Report Check-InQuiet and nice area for big rigs and RVs to park. Water hookup as well which is free to use.
Report Check-InPeaceful night. 5 RVs, 1 van, 1 semi, and me in a pop up tent. Police staged 2 cars in lot or maybe 1 was security? For sure 1 car was LPD. 1 car was gone by 8 am. Walk to several restaurants and Costco gas a block away.
Report Check-InCabellas removed their black water dump station one week ago. You can still park here overnight. Relatively quiet although one of our neighbors ran his engine all night. There are not many options for free camping in and around Louisville. Strong Verizon signal.
Report Check-InThis Cabella's location DOES NOT have a dump site anymore. Ok to park RV overnight, safe and relatively quiet.

There is a POTABLE water spigot near the dog kennels on the opposite side of the dump station area
Plenty of room to park and the dumping station is free :) second time here and both times we’ve been happy
Report Check-Inspending the night, only 5 spots and we got the last one. But worker inside said you can even park out front as they close at 9pm. dump station machine is still not functioning, so dumping was free.
