Was originally heading for the nearby lake but as it was Canada Day the lake was packed. Took a forest service road closer to the highway and found this nice little little clearing on the side of a logging road. Solid Verizon/Tellus signal.
Further up the road, there is a Y-intersection that looks like it leads up to a few nice clearings at the top of a hill - that road isn’t being maintained anymore.

The road was not quite reasonably drivable in this weather (light rain) and I had a bit of an adventure getting back out of it. I wasn’t able to get to the side road but there was a spot on the main forest road that was wide enough to spend the night. Viable but be mindful that it’s not a road for all vehicles.
Report Check-InThis still exists but it's been pretty trashed since the original photos a few years ago, and is now more dirt than grass and is littered with thousands of shell casings. We decided to go somewhere more private up the road a bit further.
