"While we have been here we have been visited by some awesome humans adventuring through Colombia in their vans. Unfortunately, we will not be able to hosts any future campervans, as new owners we have remodeled the previous known place and now opening as a boutique hotel. Our facilities and parking is very limited."

We stayed at Hostal Colonial for 2 times because it was too nice. After checking out all the other options in Minca, we decided to stay here. It's a 15 Minute walk to Minca and 5 Minutes to the famous street-grill "Carmarilla". They have a private waterfall, a pool, lots of birds (we saw many toucans) flying around and fast wifi. From here we saw the perfect sunset every evening and everything is topped by Lix and William, the friendly owners. Their garden is full of fruits and they don't mind sharing! It's 15k p.P but if you stay longer, you might be able to get a better deal. They have dorms and private rooms too, beginning at 25k. We strongly recommend this place for your stay in Minca! Camping is on a grassy lot in front of the hostal. 4 dogs. Driving there from the road might be too narrow for huge rigs!

Endroit merveilleux où nous venons de passer 2 nuits. Les patrons sont charmants. lavenderia pour 10000 cop le gros sac. piscine naturelle et très belles balades à faire dans la jungle. Nous nous sommes parqués devant l'hôtel très bien pour 30000 cop la nuit.

Clean and friendly; very nice facility. must check out the river and waterfall especially during the midday heat. Room for 1 or 2 trucks out front; we stayed in rtt and paid 30,000 for 2 ppl to use showers, WiFi, and laundry.
Report Check-InWe stayed here 3 nights to enjoy the cooler evenings , after Cartegena and Santa Marta. Very nice facility. We are 11'4" tall and cleared the entrance arches easily. Tight parking for 2 vehicles, with electricity. Great location to tour or explore. We walked to Minca and back several times. About 15 min one way. Wifi was good enough to stream.

Report Check-InWe thought this place was great, it started pouring with rain when we arrived so was great to have a place to sit in a hammock, prepare dinner and sit around in. The pool was looking worse for wear but with the weather we didn't want to swim anyways. Owners seemed lovely and wifi was handy especially when so many places in town don't have it.

The Camping area is just a joke! They offer a piece a cement concrete with no shade at all. Poor installation. Horrible place. We left.
First, we did not meet any friendly owner. Second, this place barely fits two vehicles in the "parking lot". The tent camping is so n so. They quoted 40000 for 2 people-one vehicle and 100000 for a shared-bathroom double room. The location is amazing but the place does not worthwhile the last rough 1km.

Report Check-InWe love this place! They let us camp in the front with our rtt. Great wifi, lovely bathrooms and even a little coffee in the morning. The pool is nice and you have access to some hiking trails below. We highly recommend this place.

propriétaires extrêmement sympathiques qui nous ont laissé profiter de toutes les commodités de leur hôtel alors qu'il était fermé et qu'eux mêmes étaient absents
petit problème : la piste qui y conduit est en très mauvais état (environ 1.5km) et l'endroit ne peut pas accueillir de gros véhicules
Report Check-InReally nice place to relax, unwind and cool off after shipping our vehicle and the hussle and bussle and most of all heat of Cartagena. As said, amazing views of the mountains, birds everywhere and a super nice natural pool with cool water from the river. Very clean bathroom too. We paid 15.000 pesos per person per night and had the place virtually to ourselves for 3 days. William and Lix are awesome. Parked in front of the hostel entrance which was fine for us but probably not more then 2 cars or campers will fit here. No hight restrictions. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Minca. We are a big tuck camper and fit in the grassy lot in front just fine. Clean bathroom cold but not horrible cold shower. Friendly owners. Very peaceful setting and super friendly guests.
