Great place, fantastic facilities, level of maintainance very high. info below from others is still correct.
You can visit the lodge on the island, day trip with use of lodge with food is $60. A day rafting is $140 starts at 8:30am includes 3 meals and 4 beers. Offered us a discount because we camped. Didn't do either activity due to our time restrictions.
Bar and communal area are great.
New restaurant and pool with lodge accomodation is finished, its a few minutes walk, we visited it but didn't use it, looks amazing with better view of river. Bungee still in construction.

The cam was closed because of covid when we arrived but they let us stay anyway. They charged us 10$ p.P for a night.
The facilities are new.
The falls can be visited next to the camp for a entrance fee of 10K p.P.
We totally recommend to walk back the road to the city. After around 10 minutes you find a shop on the right hand side where you can ask for a beer. The people are totally friendly and walked us around the village.

Report Check-In

Brandnew campsite with clean facilities. Hot showers and clean flushing toilets. Although only minimal direct view on the river and falls this is compensated by hospitality of staf and ‘overland vibe’
We liked the spacious outdoor kitchen at most of the sites which gives you perfect shelter for sun and rain.

The camp site is now open, everything is new and very professional. Wide range of food. Very friendly courteous staff. Wifi, camping $ 8. The barbed wire around the camp disturbes the athmosphere.

Super friendly host and staff, nice camping area with private overlander bays with water, electricity, and charging possibilities. Nice bar area, cold beer for 6.000 UGX. Decent americaniced food (burger, deep fried baskets, salads). Great breakfast with a lot of coffe to share. Swimming pool seems like to be under construction for still a long time :-) Supposed to have a beautiful view, but trees and fences hide the nile quite well. Very good and clean ablutions with hot water, soap, and toilet paper. Highly recommended. Camping with RTT 8$ pp. Credit card seems to be accepted (but we didn't try).

All as described. Pool in progress. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They even brought us a "braai" (BBQ) to braai (grill) our meat. Plenty plug points by your camp. We didn't do river rafting but there are lots of activities available including visiting the nearby island. Bungy jump to be included soon. Shower always hot. $8 pp
