Entrance fee 150 BOB per person. ONLY CASH! CLP and USD are also accepted. You have to pay this fee for driving further north.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
it costs 150 bolivianos, it is better to change the money in Atacama, here 1 dólar = 6,5 bol and 1 real = 1 bol, so not the best deal, but it is the only deal.
we slept here in the car , -15°c at night, there is also a hostel for 50bol.
Entrance fee ONLY CASH in US dollar, Chilean peso or Bolivianos.
We only had Argentina pesos or euros and this was a problem. For sure they did not want the Argentinian pesos. Whilst at the other border they do accept this.
It’s still 150 bolivianos per person and if you’re coming from Chile the gate will only be opened after you pay. I recommend getting a map while you’re registering.
Report Check-In150bol pp, they have cambio here, if you forget to change in San Pedro, but it's the worst cotation... The tip is just change 350bols in Atacama (300 for park entrance, plus 50 for toll and the pools to swim) because it's much better change in Uyuni.
Report Check-InHere you have to buy your entrance tickets to the national park, still 150 Bol pp. Don't loose the tickets, we were checked twice on our way to Uyuni.
Report Check-InStill 150 BOL for foreigners, and 30 BOL for residents. There is no structure, and if you need bathrooms, you will need to pay 3 BOL more. We asked about phone numbers or radio frequency if we needed help inside the park and couldn't tell us 🙄
_______

Report Check-InHad to pay our park fee on the exit. We entered the park well after dark at the north end and the gate was open (thankfully) but nowhere to purchase our tickets.
Report Check-InJust for information. The ticket is valid for a stay in the park for 4 consecutive days. The price is still BOL150.
Within these days you can leave and reenter the park once. The ticket is personalised with name and passport number. Coming a long way from Tupiza we used it as an exit in the evening to go from here to San Pedro de Atacama to get fresh fuel and to reenter again the next day.
aduana container direct after the Ticket Control, no problem, we had to fill out a formular for money transfer and got a copy of it; we left the vehicle Import Form here. A sign at the window declares, if closed you had to use another aduana.
Report Check-InWe bought the tickets for the park here. 150bob or 25$US. They gave us a simple map of the park, with the main spot to see. You can also make some change. For us it was 1$US = 6bob
Report Check-InThe Aduana here is only open on some days. They couldnt stamp our carpapers at the migracion neither. When driving the route from north to south we would highly recommend to go to the office close to the geysers! Dont think that it works down here...
Report Check-InExit bolivia and buy the Tickets for 150 pp. New is the aduana for the vehicels also her to stampe the papers.
Report Check-InThey checked the tickets here and stamped them. If you didn't pay the entrance fee yet you may have to do that here.
